Puedo decir que con este diseño de Ruxandra, me animó a diseñar personajes relacionados a la cultura de mi país. La vez pasada tejí a Ninfa del Bosque en su estilo Bosque, ahora lo tejeré en su estilo Bosque seco. Esta pieza lleva simplicidad y complejidad a la vez y eso lo hace especial.
I can say that with this design by Ruxandra, I was encouraged to design characters related to the culture of my country. Last time I crocheted Anise the Dryad in her Forest style, now I will make it in her Dry Forest style. This piece carries simplicity and complexity at the same time and that makes it special.

Ruxandra diseña muñecos de fantasia. Para esto usa hilo acrílico y suelen ser complejos en cuanto al número de piezas a tejer. Desde el año pasado también está diseñando muñecos con hilo Chenille, esos diseños son sencillos.
Ruxandra designs fantasy dolls. For this she uses acrylic yarn and they are usually elaborate in terms of the number of pieces to be crocheted. Since last year she is also designing dolls with Chenille yarn, those designs are easy to make.
Cuando tejí a Anise en Bosque verde, mi tiempo de tejido fue de 11h 30min. Esta vez en un inicio volví a medir el tiempo y como era similar ya no volví a medirlo. Aún tengo pendiente medir el tiempo de tejido del Dragón de fuego, esta vez será de hielo.
Suelo medir el tiempo porque es parte de la cotización al momento de calcular el precio de la pieza tejida. Lo considero importante para tener una idea de su valor monetario si alguna vez decido venderlo o regalarlo.
When I crocheted Anise in Forest Green, my crocheting time was 11h 30min. This time at the beginning I remeasured the time and as it was similar I didn't measure it again. I still have to measure the weaving time of Fire Dragon, this time it will be ice.
I usually measure time because it is part of the quotation when calculating the price of the piece woven. I consider it important to have an idea of its monetary value if I ever decide to sell it or give it away.
Recuerdo que cuando ví la foto de Anise, me pareció ver un Funko tamaño mediano y tejido a crochet. Eso lo tuve en cuenta al momento de formar mi estilo, eso combinado con que mis dibujos ya tenían enormes cabezas. Solo me faltaba ajustar las proporciones.
I remember when I saw the picture of Anise, I thought I saw a medium sized crocheted Funko. I took that into account when I was forming my style, combined with the fact that my drawings already had huge heads. I just needed to adjust the proportions.
Si bien el muñeco parece sencillo, toma su tiempo en tejerlo. Además, al ser un personaje... estoy utilizando los colores similares al patrón. Para plasmar la escencia de lo que representa Anise the Dryad. ¡Nos vemos en la parte 2!.
