My biggest Plushie yet ~ introducing Nugget!

Hi Hiveians! Welcome! Since I now have more polyfiber (which is stuffing), I can crochet more! This polyfiber was gifted to me by a kind friend that also likes to crochet. Except the only problem was, when I had stuffing, I had no yarn. Lol. 😂 Which is why I haven't posted in NeedleWorkMonday for awhile.
The only place to buy crochet yarn where I live is quite far away, but since my mom was going to go the distance anways one day, to go to the dentist, I asked her if she'd stop by at the yarn store. She got 8 more colours for me to make creations to share with you! This is the first thing I crocheted. :)

This is the biggest Amigurumi I have ever made and it took me 3 days. I love how cute it came out and the personality it has.

My little sister loved it too, we named the bunny "Nugget" 🤪

Materials:

  • Yarn of your choice

  • Scissors

  • A crochet hook (appropriate enough for your yarn size)

  • Sewing needle

  • Stuffing

  • A stitch marker

  • LOVE!!

If you don't have a stitch marker, you can also use scrap yarn, a bobby pin, or even an earring, anything like that will work!

First, we have the naked model of the soon to become adorable Nugget. I made this with just pure white yarn, I also had to sew the head and body together and embroided in the eyes, since I don't have the typical plushie "safety eyes", but that's okay. :)

Just to get this far it took me an entire day, but now we just need to add the little accesories (and essential body parts lol) like the ears, arms and the little carrot.

Assembly time!!

In other words, now it's time to sew everything together, one of my favorite parts! (Besides the stuffing hehe)

I took my sewing needle and sewed the carrot to the hands and then the arms to the body.

After I did, I also gave her a cute little pink nose. I also realized a bit later, that the eyes needed to be much bigger, the ones that I had embroided on you could hardly see..

The Final Result!

Ahh, now those are real eyes.. :)
