How I Cut And Sew A Six Pieces Gown With A Cosette Breast Part

Good evening house today I will show you how I cut and sew a six pieces gown with a Cosette breast part.
Here I have my Ankara material, dull-face, lining, baby lace, zip, and my Cosette breast part.

First I will start by cutting my pieces which is the down part of the gown.
I fold my material by two and I measure out from the waist to the knee which is twenty inches as you canand I also measure out five inches from the both side of the at the top cause that's where I will start cutting from, and down to knee side I also measure out four inches from both side cause that's where my opening will start from, after that I cut it out and this is how it looks after cutting.

And all you need to do is to fold the material again and place the first one you cut on it and then cut out the remaining part of the pieces And then I proceeded to cut the back side of the gown which is the upper side by sixteen inches, my neck length by eight inches and the wideness by five inches and this is the back and you also cut out the lining for the back.

Now for the front part which I will be putting my Cosette breast part I fold my dull-face material by two and I remove six inches from the top cause I'll be added at it and I cut it by seventeen inches cause I will be giving it a V cove shape at the front and I cut it out and this is how it looks after cutting.

After that I measure out one inches from the material as u can see that where I will start placing my Cosette on the material and I use my chalk to trace it out and cut it just as you can see from the photo.

And I fold the material from where I cut out my Cosette and divide it by two cause I'll use my Ankara to make design at the front.

And I also cut out my lining for it.
Now I proceeded to cut out my hand by twenty one inches that's for the upper side and the down part by six inches and I'm going to be flay at the hand and this is it.

I also cut out my Ankara material for the Cosette by folding the material by four and fold the Cosette by two and place it on the material, I used my chalk to trace it out with an allowance for sewing.

After cutting everything I cut out
my lining for the part of the dress except for the upper part of the hand, and I proceed to put my lining.
For the Cosette this is how it is.

And this is how the breast part looks after joining.
Then I proceeded and add up my six inches at the upper side of the front, after that I joined everything together, fix my hand and my zip and this is final outcome of my six pieces Cosette gown.
