Good evening 🌆 hive family, trust you're all doing fine.
Today I will love to share with you how I made this straight gown with a double sleeting at the both side and the front.
To make this gown I have my Ankara material, lining, zip, cotton bayas, stone, chalk, stone picker, tape, tread, and my scissor.
I firstly cut out my full length from the material and place it to the size I want, and I took the other one and place on it with my one point five inches for zip.
After that I measure out my hand pit and my neck, then I used my chalk to trace it out before cutting.
Then I proceeded to cut out my hand and Pocket.
After cutting everything, I also proceed to fix it on both side.
After fixing the lining I proceed to fix my cotton bayas on the front part, before doing that I slitted the front part before fixing the cotton bayas from the neck straight down.
After that I also use same process and fixed the cotton bayas on the pocket.
This is the front after fixing the lining and cotton bayas.
And the back side.
After all that I proceed to join everything together, fix my hand and my pocket.
And this is how the slitting at the side.
After all that I proceed to iron it, after that I fix my stone's on top of the cotton bayas, firstly I arranged it using the stone picker.
So I a separate material socked in the water, place it on the stones I arranged and place my iron on it to make it gum.
After all that as you can see here is the gown set .
Thank you for stopping by to check on my 😊😊.
See you all on my next post, and do have a good night rest.
This is beautiful. Using black bias to design makes the cloth stand out more, and I also the stone added more creativity to the design. Thanks for sharing
