Happy day, needle lovers. Today I bring you this beautiful and easy project made with crochet hooks. Trapillo is a world apart in crochet, and for me it has been a great challenge because even though I have only made a small project, I have realized that although it advances quickly, the material is not so yielding. I bought 200 grams balls and in the small basket I made in the past days, I used half a ball, being a considerably small basket.	Feliz día, amantes de las agujas. Hoy les traigo este bonito y fácil proyecto hecho con trapillo. El trapillo es un mundo aparte dentro del crochet, y a mí me ha resultado un gran reto porque pese a que solo he realizado un proyecto algo pequeño, me he dado cuenta que aunque se avanza rápido, el material no es tan rendidor. He comprado ovillos de 200 gramos y en la pequeña cesta que realicé en días pasados, gasté la mitad de un ovillo, siendo una cesta considerablemente pequeña.

Feliz día, amantes de las agujas. Hoy les traigo este bonito y fácil proyecto hecho con trapillo. El trapillo es un mundo aparte dentro del crochet, y a mí me ha resultado un gran reto porque pese a que solo he realizado un proyecto algo pequeño, me he dado cuenta que aunque se avanza rápido, el material no es tan rendidor. He comprado ovillos de 200 gramos y en la pequeña cesta que realicé en días pasados, gasté la mitad de un ovillo, siendo una cesta considerablemente pequeña.


In this sense, the next projects to be done with the rest of the material have to be small, to make the most of it, if for now I can't get the same color or simply I can't buy it for the moment. That's why I bring you to use those small pieces of rag that we have left over. For this type of five petal flower you don't need more than three meters of material.	En este sentido, los próximos proyectos a realizar con el resto de material han de ser pequeños, para sacar el máximo provecho, si es que por ahora no puedo conseguir el mismo color o simplemente no lo puedo comprar por el momento. Es por eso, que les traigo con utilizar esos pequeños trozos de trapillo que nos hayan sobrado. Para este tipo de flor de cinco pétalos no se necesita más de tres metros de material.

Es por eso, que les traigo con utilizar esos pequeños trozos de trapillo que nos hayan sobrado. Para este tipo de flor de cinco pétalos no se necesita más de tres metros de material.


We start with a magic ring. Recommendation: make it a little wide so that we can make the petals comfortably. We pick up three chains to replace the first high stitch. Now we make a high stitch.	Comenzamos con un anillo mágico. Recomendación: hacerlo un poco amplio para que podamos realizar los pétalos con comodidad. Levantamos tres cadenas para reemplazar el primer punto alto. Ahora realizamos un punto alto.


We raise three chains that will replace the third high stitch, since each petal will be composed of three chains, one high stitch and three chains. Between each petal we make a slipped stitch. This is how we perform the process of the flower.	Levantamos tres cadenas que van a reemplazar el tercer punto alto, ya que cada pétalo estará compuesto de tres cadenas, un punto alto y tres cadenas. Entre cada pétalo realizamos un punto deslizado. Así realizamos el proceso de la flor.

We pass the remaining end of the rag towards the back and place the elastic band in the middle of the flower. Tie a double knot tightly so that it does not come loose and return the ends to the front of the flower. Cut off the excess.	Pasamos la punta trapillo sobrante hacia la parte de atrás y colocamos la banda elástica en medio de la flor. Con el trapillo realizamos un nudo doble bien apretado para que no se afloje y retornamos las puntas hacia la parte frontal de la flor. Cortamos los sobrantes.


We make the center of the flower. I used yellow macramé thread. This type of thread goes very well with the rest of the material because it has structure and is thick. For this flower I made a magic ring and six single crochet stitches, then I increased to 12 single crochet stitches, to stay in 18 single crochet stitches in the third round because the size suits very well to the rag flower.	Realizamos el centro de la flor. Yo utilicé hilo macramé de color amarillo. Este tipo de hilo va muy bien con el resto del material porque tiene estructura y queda grueso. Para esta flor realicé un anillo mágico y seis puntos bajos, luego aumenté a 12 puntos bajos, para quedarme en 18 puntos bajos en la tercera vuelta ya que el tamaño le sienta muy bien a la flor de trapillo.


Finally, we place the center of the flower with hot silicone and we have some beautiful rag flower pigtails, ready to use. I made one with chenille wool out of curiosity and although they look very nice, achieving a clean finish is more complex because the wool comes apart when we make knots, it is very delicate and it is necessary to make an additional disk to finish off the back.
