Hoy es un nuevo lunes de costura y me alegra poder estar de nuevo con ustedes compartiendo un tutorial más. En esta oportunidad quiero enseñarles la confección de una franela personalizada con pintura textil, es una prenda bastante cómoda, suave y moderna, ya que en estos tiempos se están utilizando éstas prendas con frases, mensajes y hermosos dibujos. Aquí te muestro cómo la hice y qué materiales utilicé.

Today is a new sewing Monday and I am happy to be with you again sharing one more tutorial. This time I want to show you how to make a personalized flannel with textile paint, it is a very comfortable, soft and modern garment, because nowadays these garments are being used with phrases, messages and beautiful drawings. Here I show you how I made it and what materials I used.

70 cm de tela microdurazno azul rey.
Franela preferida para el patrón.
Pintura Textil blanca y pinceles.
Moldes del diseño a realizar.
Tijeras.
Máquina de coser.

70 cm of king blue micro-denim fabric.
Preferred flannel for the pattern.
White textile paint and brushes.
Molds of the design to be made.
Scissors.
Sewing machine.

Para la confección de esta franela, lo primero que hice fue doblar la tela en 4 partes, Para sacar la pieza delantera y la pieza trasera de una vez, seguidamente, para diferenciar ambas piezas, bajé 6 cm en el cuello de la pieza delantera.

To make this flannel, the first thing I did was to fold the fabric in 4 parts, to get the front piece and the back piece at once, then, to differentiate both pieces, I lowered 6 cm at the neck of the front piece.

Cuando terminé de sacar la pieza delantera y la trasera, procedi a sacar el patrón de las mangas.

When I finished removing the front and back pieces, I proceeded to remove the sleeve pattern.

Una vez que saqué las dos mangas, procedí a cocerlas por el recorrido de la sisa de la franela, sin cerrar a un la misma, ya que es más fácil realizarlo de ésta forma, es decir, con la franela abierta.

Once I took out the two sleeves, I proceeded to sew them along the armhole of the flannel, without closing it, since it is easier to do it this way, that is to say, with the flannel open.

Luego que terminé de cocer las mangas, coloqué todas las partes una con sus derechos enfrentados y cosí los laterales.

After I finished sewing the sleeves, I placed all the parts right sides together and sewed the sides together.

Para el detalle del cuello, lo que hice fue cortar una tira del largo total del contorno del cuello, menos 2cm, la uní por sus extremos,la doblé por la mitad Y pasé una costura en zigzag por la orilla de la unión del dobles, estirándola un poco hasta lograr ampliarla hasta el tamaño del cuello.

For the neck detail, what I did was to cut a strip of the total length of the neck contour, minus 2cm, I joined it by its ends, folded it in half and passed a zigzag seam along the edge of the union of the doubles, stretching it a little until I managed to extend it to the size of the neck.

Terminada la franela, metí por debajo de la parte del frente de la franela, un libro para asentar los moldes de la palabra Fé y de la Cruz. Aseguré la base con algunos objetos.

Once the flannel was finished, I put a book under the front part of the flannel to place the molds of the word Faith and the Cross. I secured the base with some objects.

Comencé a hacer el diseño colocando el molde de la cruz sobre la franela y marqué primero los bordes y rellené con pintura blanca textil. Éste mismo proceso lo hice para la palabra Fé

I began to make the design by placing the mold of the cross on the flannel and first marked the edges and filled it with white textile paint. I did the same process for the word Faith.

Para finalizar sequé un poco la pintura con secadora de cabello en aire caliente y la dejé secar al aire libre.

Finally, I dried the paint a little with a hair dryer in hot air and let it dry in the open air.

Y de ésta manera lograremos personalizar nuestras franelas, tan solo teniendo pintura textil o al frío y mucha creatividad. Espero que te haya gustado el resultado y el tutorial sea de mucha utilidad. Muchas bendiciones apreciada colmena.
