Hello Hivers from Needle Work Monday, Happy Monday everyone, Today I want to share how to make flowers out of jeans fabric, it is very simple and easy to do and best of all you can use those old jeans that we have in the closet that we don't wear and put them to good use.
Making jeans flowers is a craft with which you can entertain yourself and at the same time do something different.
Materials :
- white sheet of office paper
- 1 cut of denim fabric of approximately 60 centimeters
- 40 centimeters of white lace cloth
*1 medium button
*White thread and needle - scissors
*Measuring tape
*1 marker
Instructions to follow:
1.-Cut a 60 centimeters piece of jeans fabric.
2.- Previously I made a pattern with 6 petals paper, which I cut in 2 parts because for me it is easier to work this way, this pattern I am going to place it on the back of the jeans fabric and I mark the petals with a marker.
3.- I cut with a scissors, in the same way as I did with the pattern I am going to cut in 2 parts.
4.- Una vez que tengo listo el corte con la tela de jeans ,voy a cortar con la tijera 2 pedazo de tela de encaje blanca d 20 centimetros cada uno.
5.- Now I have the 2 cuts ready to sew with needle and white thread: I place the lace on top of the jeans fabric, specifically on the lower edge, while I'm sewing I'm gathering the fabric together with the lace so that it takes the shape I want.
And the last step is to sew the button right in the middle of the flower.
Did you notice how easy it was to make this cute jeans flower?

Hello @katteaguilera! Welcome to the NeedleWorkMonday community!
This is a cute way to use old jeans fabric and I like the way you made and sewed them together. The lace adds a pretty and soft touch to the hardy denim. Thank you for joining us!
