Blessed beginning of the week and beginning of the month, dear NeedleWorkMonday crafter friends. Today begins a month full of many expectations and new ideas. Today I share with you a set of coasters that I started making yesterday, and thinking that I could only manage to make one, it turned out that I got so much love for it that I ended up making 5 hahahaha.
I started as always with a lot of faith and excitement that I was going to get it right, since I didn't have a pattern guide, but I had the spirit and the desire to make a fabric.

Bendecido inicio de semana e inicio de mes, queridos amigos artesanos de NeedleWorkMonday. Hoy comienza un mes lleno de muchas expectativas y nuevas ideas. El día de hoy comparto con ustedes un juego de posavasos que comencé hacer ayer, y pensando que solo podía lograr hacer uno, resulto que le agarre tanto amor que termine haciendo 5 jajajaja.
Empecé como siempre con mucha fe y emoción de que me iban a salir bien, ya que no tenía un patrón de guía, pero sí el ánimo y las ganas de hacer un tejido.

On weekends I always plan to make something nice to share on needlework Mondays, it is a special moment when I get to do what I like to do the most.
Without many materials, but enough to improvise what I was going to do, I finished knitting a coaster, but the excitement of seeing how nice it looked I ended up taking out all the wicks that I had left over from other works, to knit other coasters with different combinations that would make a set.
I stayed up late knitting until late wanting to finish them all last night, but sleep and exhaustion got the better of me; however, today I was able to complete all the ones I proposed to do, because after making the first one I wanted to make several to share with my family and friends, so I finished today quite late, after doing my other works, but I did not give up, because I wanted to show you what I did with so much enthusiasm.
Los fines semana siempre me proyecto hacer algo lindo para compartir en los lunes de aguja, es un momento especial en que me ralajo haciendo lo que más me gusta hacer.
Sin muchos materiales, pero si, los suficientes para improvisar lo que iba a hacer, termine de tejer un posavasos, pero la emoción de ver lo lindo que me había quedado termine sacando todos los pabilos que me habían sobrado de otros trabajos, para tejer otros posavasos con diferentes combinaciones que hicieran un conjunto.
Me quede despierta tejiendo hasta tarde con ganas de terminarlos todos anoche, pero el sueño y agotamiento me vencieron; sin embargo, hoy fue que pude completar todos los que me propuse hacer, debido a que después de hacer el primero quise hacer varios para compartir con mi familia y amigos, así que termine el día de hoy bastante tarde, después de hacer mis otros trabajos, pero no me rendí, porque quería mostrarles lo que hice con tanto entusiasmo.

This knitting is simple, inspired by the flowers that I like so much, for now I do not master the terms of crochet, but I feel that I defend myself when I propose to do my projects and that is satisfying for me.
This project, like many others, starts with a magic ring, which after some practice I can easily make.
Este tejido es sencillo, inspirado en las flores que tanto me gustan, por ahora no domino los términos de crochet, pero siento que me defiendo cuando me propongo hacer mis proyectos y eso es satisfactorio para mí.
Este proyecto, como muchos, comienza con un anillo mágico, que después de tiempos de prácticas puedo hacerlo fácilmente.

Observing how my progress is going, makes me remember when I knitted my first work for this community, I remember that I made a woven hair pin, this is really emotional, and even more when we insist on learning, to see how we manage to make our home garments, that our friends who visit us see congratulate you and have a coffee at that table where we have laid the coasters that we made with our own hands.
Observar como va mi progreso, me hace recordar cuando tejí mi primer trabajo para esta comunidad, recuerdo que hice una colita tejida para el cabello, esto realmente es emotivo, y más aún cuando insistimos en aprender, ver como logramos hacer nuestras prendas del hogar, que nuestras amistades que nos visiten vean te feliciten y se tomen un café en esa mesa donde tengamos tendido los posavasos que hicimos con nuestras propias manos.
I like how the thick and striking texture looks with those radiant vivid colors, one of the colors that I liked the most for this combination was purple, it looks great, now I feel more confident and encouraged to continue making knitting projects because every time I started one I am filled with creativity.
Me gusta como se ve la textura gruesa y llamativa con esos colores radiantes vivos, uno de los colores que más me gusto para esta combinación fue el morado, se ve muy bien, ahora me siento más segura y animada en seguir haciendo proyectos de tejidos porque cada vez que comenzó uno me lleno creatividad.
When I finished knitting I felt productive, full of enthusiasm with many ideas to develop, seeing how from simple scraps we can achieve great and wonderful works of art, we just have to start putting the ideas together.
Cuando termine de tejer me sentí productiva, llena de entusiasmo con muchas ideas que desarrollar, viendo como de simples retazos logramos grandes y maravillosas obras de arte, solo hay que empezar armar las ideas.
I hope you like it, it is a design that crossed my mind and I wanted to repeat it several times to learn how to handle the technique.
I always wanted to have some woven coasters, because besides giving a decorative touch to the tables, it protects them from any spill, no matter how small it may be.
