Hoy quiero compartir los avances de este proyecto que está en curso y es mi primer pantalón largo y con varios bolsillos. Para esto estuve viendo unos videos de YouTube de Marist Creando Idea, una creadora de contenido, que me gusta mucho su forma clara y amena de enseñarte a hacer desde cero una pieza.
Quise hacer esta publicación para darle importancia a estos dos pasos, en la elaboración de una prenda de vestir, como lo es el patronaje y el corte de cada una de las piezas que formarán un lindo proyecto que es para mi princesa Arianna.
Otra cosa, este pantalón será el primero de varios que le estaré haciendo a Arianna, porque ya casi todos los que tiene les quedan cortos y le he comprado, pero también quiero hacerle para ir mejorando en la costura.
Hablando del patrón, me gusta mucho hacerlo, así quedan a la medida ajustada al cuerpo. Me gusta sacar mis cuentas y llevar al papel cada medida.
Las reglas especiales para hacer estos patrones, si bien no son obligatorias porque también puedes trabajar a mano alzada, sí que te facilitan mucho el trabajo y por eso estoy feliz de tener estas herramientas.
Este patrón me quedó muy bueno, porque el pantalón está casi listo y le quedó muy bien a mi princesa. Por cierto, este patrón lo estuve haciendo hasta altas horas de la noche y madrugada, y mi princesa Ámbar me estuvo acompañando y me pidió que le tomara una foto con los patrones ya listos y ella me tomó unas a mí.
Otra cosa que lleva su trabajo meticuloso es cortar la tela. Para esto hay que saber colocar cada patrón sobre la tela bien puesta, es decir, colocarla al hilo de la tela.
En el caso del pantalón, es preciso que en el patrón esté marcado el hilo de la tela, así podemos medir la distancia desde el orillo al hilo del patrón, esto asegura que una vez hecho el pantalón, no se vaya la tela de lado.
Otra cosa que me gusta es marcar con tiza todo el patrón en la tela, así sabré por dónde pasar la costura y todo se pueda coser ajustado al patrón. Lo mismo hago con la línea de corte, también marco a un centímetro de la línea de costura, así todos los sobrantes quedarán del mismo tamaño y será más fácil a la hora de pagarle la remalladora o, en mi caso, la costura en sigza, para que no se vaya la tela y, como dije antes, se vea más prolijo.
Habrá personas más expertas que harán todas estas cosas al ojo por ciento, pero a mí me gusta trabajar en mis proyectos de costuras así. Espero que cada día me queden mejor y seguir aprendiendo, porque todavía no me quedan bien del todo.
Una vez que todo está marcado, llega el momento de cortar. Para esto es preciso tener una buena tijera, una que solo se use para cortar tela. Puesto que se hace muy pesado si no corta bien y además deforma la tela.
Tanto para hacer los patrones como para cortar las telas de piezas grandes como el pantalón, me hace falta una mesa grande, por eso me ven en el suelo haciendo este trabajo.
Como no estoy muy diestra, solo estos dos pasos me llevan bastante tiempo, imagínense al momento de coser, mucho más, je, je, je. Ya les estaré contando cómo estuve confeccionado este lindo pantalón para mi princesa.

Another thing, these pants will be the first of several that I will be making for Arianna, because almost all the ones she has are too short and I have bought for her, but I also want to make them to improve my sewing skills.
Talking about the pattern, I really like to make it, so it fits to the body. I like to do my math and put each measurement on paper.
The special rulers to make these patterns, although they are not mandatory because you can also work freehand, they make your work much easier and that's why I'm happy to have these tools.
This pattern was very good, because the pants are almost ready and they fit my princess very well. By the way, I was making this pattern until late at night and early in the morning, and my princess Amber was accompanying me and asked me to take a picture of her with the patterns ready and she took some pictures of me.
Another thing that takes meticulous work is cutting the fabric. For this you have to know how to place each pattern on the fabric well placed, that is, to place it to the thread of the fabric.
In the case of the pants, it is necessary to mark the fabric thread on the pattern, so we can measure the distance from the selvage to the pattern thread, this ensures that once the pants are made, the fabric does not go sideways.
Another thing I like to do is to mark with chalk all the pattern on the fabric, so I know where to pass the seam and everything can be sewn tight to the pattern. I do the same with the cutting line, I also mark a centimeter away from the sewing line, so all the leftovers will be the same size and it will be easier when it's time to pay the overlocker or, in my case, the stitching in sigza, so that the fabric doesn't go and, as I said before, it looks neater.
There will be more expert people who will do all these things by eye per cent, but I like to work on my sewing projects this way. I hope that every day they look better and I keep learning, because they still don't look quite right.
Once everything is marked, it's time to cut. For this you need to have a good scissors, one that is only used to cut fabric. Since it becomes very heavy if it does not cut well and also deforms the fabric.
Both to make the patterns and to cut the fabrics of large pieces like the pants, I need a big table, that's why you see me on the floor doing this work.
Since I'm not very skilled, these two steps alone take me a lot of time, imagine when it comes to sewing, much more, heh, heh, heh, heh. I'll be telling you how I've been making these cute pants for my princess.
