Hola, mi gente linda de @needleworkmonday, un gusto saludarlos. Espero que tengan una bendecida semana, llena de alegrías y proyectos por realizar. Hoy les quiero mostrar cómo estuve realizando un hermoso top para mi princesa Ámbar.
No sé, si se acuerdan, les había contado que para el 31 de diciembre, me quedé sin hacer este top, que solo pude hacerle una linda falda con esta tela. Tuve que salir en casi plena noche a comprarle una camisa.
Así que me quedaron marcados los patrones en la tela y también cortados. Como estoy aprendiendo y cada prenda es un desafío, la fui dejando por ahí, hasta que por fin me puse a coserla.
Primero, organice cada una de las piezas, les pase costura a mano o hilvane, para coser más rápido y de verdad, que si es más fácil así.
Luego seguí con las mangas, para eso fruncí la tela con dos costuras flojas, para mayor precisión. Después le cosí un hermoso encaje.
Una vez puesto el encaje, lo cosí a la manga, que es una tira de unos 3 centímetros de ancho, de tal forma que quedara embonada la costura y se viera todo muy prolijo.
Ahora, si continúe cociendo el top, le hice un forro con la misma tela y estuve planchando las costuras. La parte de atrás fue un desafío, lo había hecho como se ve en la foto, en forma de V y unas tiras a los lados para hacer un lazo, pero al amarrarlo se le salían las mangas.
También le quería coser el encaje en la parte en donde finaliza el talle, pero Ambar me dijo que era muy corta y en diciembre ella la quería así, je, je, je.
Así que tuve que hacerle un faralao y ahí le cosí el encaje, esto con el fin de que le quedara más corta y quedó muy linda. Pero seguía el problema de las mangas que se caían.
Así que las descosi de la parte de atrás y las acorté más, no funcionó, luego las descosi de la parte de adelante y le quité un poco más. No funcionó, se le seguían cayendo de los hombros.
Así que busque opciones, primero le coloque una tira con elástico, ayudaba un poco, pero era muy difícil de ponerle la camisa. Así que tuve que hacer unas presillas del mismo ancho de las tiras, que le había puesto para hacer el lazo en la parte de atrás.
Esto funcionó mejor, pero ya el lazo lo haría de abajo hacia arriba y las presillas no me quedaron tan derechas como quería, además las veo muy gruesas. Sin embargo, ya el top le quedó más ajustado al cuerpo y ella estaba contenta, porque se le veía bonito.
Con esta camisa y la falda que ya le había hecho, queda un hermoso conjunto. El proceso es plancharlo, por ahí he visto que es bueno el alcohol. Yo le eché, pero no vi mayor resultado, tengo que intentarlo a ver si funciona.
Este conjunto se lo iba a dejar a Ámbar para ir al bautizo de Arianna, pero ahora, como a ella también la vamos a bautizar, tengo que hacerle un vestido y ya le compré una tela preciosa, que luego les estaré mostrando.
Bueno, amigos, espero que les guste mi creación. Ya estaré mejorando la forma de cerrar las piezas en la parte de atrás, tengo pulir la forma de colocar el cierre. Aunque a este top, no se lo quise poner porque es ajustado y quieto que le dure un poco más.
A beautiful top for Amber

I don't know, if you remember, I had told you that for December 31, I didn't make this top, I could only make her a nice skirt with this fabric. I had to go out in the middle of the night to buy her a shirt.
So I had the patterns marked on the fabric and also cut out. Since I'm learning and each garment is a challenge, I kept leaving it lying around until I finally got around to sewing it.
First, I organized each one of the pieces, hand stitched or basted them, to sew faster and really, it is easier that way.
Then I continued with the sleeves, for that I gathered the fabric with two loose seams, for more precision. Then I sewed a beautiful lace.
Once the lace was on, I sewed it to the sleeve, which is a strip about 3 centimeters wide, in such a way that the stitching would be embonated and everything would look very neat.
Now, if I continued sewing the top, I made a lining with the same fabric and was ironing the seams. The back was a challenge, I had made it as you can see in the picture, in a V shape and some strips on the sides to make a bow, but when I tied it, the sleeves came off.
I also wanted to sew the lace in the part where the waist ends, but Ambar told me it was too short and in December she wanted it like that, heh, heh, heh.
So I had to make a faralao and there I sewed the lace, this in order to make it shorter and it was very nice. But I still had the problem of the sleeves falling down.
So I unpicked them from the back and shortened them more, it didn't work, then I unpicked them from the front and took off a little more. It didn't work, they kept falling off her shoulders.
So I looked for options, first I put a strip with elastic, it helped a little, but it was very difficult to put the shirt on. So I had to make some loops of the same width as the straps, which I had put to make the bow in the back.
This worked better, but I would make the bow from the bottom up and the loops were not as straight as I wanted them to be, plus they look too thick. However, the top fit tighter to her body and she was happy, because it looked nice on her.
With this shirt and the skirt I had already made for her, it is a beautiful outfit. The process is to iron it, I have seen that alcohol is good. I used it, but I didn't see any results, I have to try it and see if it works.
I was going to leave this outfit to Amber to go to Arianna's baptism, but now, as we are going to baptize her too, I have to make her a dress and I have already bought a beautiful fabric, which I will show you later.
Well, friends, I hope you like my creation. I will be improving the way to close the pieces in the back, I have to polish the way to place the zipper. Although I didn't want to put it on this top because it's tight and I want it to last a little longer.
