The cardigan model I just finished ! Hand-made Knitting 🧶😇

I've been busy completing an order for a few days. I have finally completed it and now I am very happy. As excited as I am when I start knitting, I feel more excited when I finish it. Because I love the feeling of happiness of completing something. I think there can be no good feeling like creating something with my own hands and labor.

I have mentioned before. I usually sell what I knit, but sometimes I give it to someone for free because it comes from my heart. I have an acquaintance who is 78 years old that I love very much and he was constantly talking about being cold. I decided to make this cardigan without showing it. Using the color he likes, I pulled out the model I learned years ago. We call this knitting pattern here the "hair braid pattern". Notice that the strips look like braids. She thought I knitted this for someone else and she will be very surprised when I gift it to her.

I haven't sewn buttons yet because I don't have the buttons to match the color, but tomorrow I will buy buttons suitable for the cardigan from the knitting shop. I'm proud to have finished another cardigan. If you have any questions, you can consult me. I leave detailed pictures for you to see better.

Now I need to take a break and start knitting again. I haven't decided how to come up with something yet, but when I do, I will share it with you. Thank you for reading. I wish you many braided days

This is soooo beautiful, @lillesol ! What a gorgeous gift - I can just imagine how pleased with it your friend will be! I am so blessed to live near to a market where I can buy good secondhand knits for very little, but they are nothing like a handknitted item as perfect as this - hope you find the right buttons to really set it off nicely! 😍

She liked it very much and was very surprised. I am very happy when I get such a reaction. Thank you for your well wishes and supportive comment.

Greetings @, wow! a very beautiful sweater, you have a great knitting talent, how long did it take you to finish it, it looks great to keep warm in the winter.

Bendiciones!

Thank you. If I don't have a lot of work, I usually finish my knitting in 2-3 days. 🥰

Hello @lillesol, welcome to our community!
This sweater is so beautiful, it is an excellent option for a gift.

Here there are some guidelines about our community, please take a time for reading it and feel free to ask if you have any question.
Greettings for you!

Every week needleworkers from around the globe get together to share our work, patterns, tips, ideas and shortcuts as we support one another. Our goal is to inspire the Hive blockchain to give crafting a try.

On Monday’s we use the #needleworkmonday tag and on all other days we use the #needlework tag without the word Monday attached. We share and post our work directly from the Community page.

We encourage our members to share about their needlework life with us. We love hearing stories and what types of things inspired your projects. We challenge you to put some feeling and emotion into your publications and help us get to know the needler behind the fabric.

Feel free to share photos of your work but it’s optional if you choose to share the steps with us (we do require you share the step process in at least one of your posts for validation purposes). If you just want to needle and share about that time we’d love to hear about it. 😊
