Happy Saturday, and happy Women's Day, for all those warrior women and blessed always! It is a great pleasure to share with you the sewing works, although they are simple for many, but it is still a pleasure to sew and make these works for someone.
This time I made two men's flannels, size XL, for a neighbor's husband, who asked me to make him these flannels in blue and one in red.
Although she gave me a measurement of another old flannel, so that it would fit the same. I tell you that I was the one who bought fabrics in those days, so she took the opportunity and told me to buy the flannel fabrics in those colors.
Not always many people like to go shopping for fabric, but since it was flannel, I did her the favor, so I enthusiastically did all the work.
So we can also please some people, I don't do that with everyone. Then I start her process which is an easy job.

Feliz sábado, y feliz día de la Mujer, para todas esas mujeres guerreras y bendecidas siempre! Es un gran placer compartir con ustedes los trabajos de costuras, aunque sean sencillos para muchos, pero igual es un placer coser y realizar esos trabajos para alguien.
En esta oportunidad hice dos franelas de hombre talla XL, es del esposo de una vecina, que me pide el favor de hacerle estas franelas en color azul y otra en rojo.
Aunque ella me dio una medida de otra franela vieja, para que le quedara igual. Les comento que yo fui quien comprar telas en esos días, así que ella aprovechó y me dice que le comprara las telas de franelas en esos colores.
No siempre a muchas personas les gusta ir a comprar tela, pero como era de franela, le hice el favor, así que con mucho entusiasmo hice todo el trabajo.
Así que tambien podemos complacer a algunas personas, eso no lo hago con todos. Entonces empiezo su proceso el cual es un trabajo fácil.

In order to cut the flannel, I take the measurement of another one and cut two parts, the front and back, then the sleeves, and another strip for the edge of the neck.

Para poder cortar la franela, tomo la medida de otra y corto dos partes la del frente y de espalda, luego las mangas, y otra tira para el borde del cuello.

The process is the same as all the previous flannels I have sewn, starting by joining and sewing the shoulder part, first with straight stitching and then with its zig-zag.
I also proceed to sew the sleeves on each side, making the same seams.

El proceso es el mismo de todas las franelas anteriores que he cosido, empezando por unir y coser la parte de los hombros, primero con costura recta y luego con su zig-zag.
También procedo a coser las mangas a cada lado, haciendo las mismas costuras.

I close the sides, and then make the sleeve hem and the flannel hem.
To make sure that the hem of the flannel is straight, I place the pins to the right size, and then sew by hand to make sure it is secure when sewing by machine. This way the stitching will be neater.

Voy cerrando los lados, para luego hacerle el ruedo de las mangas y el ruedo de la franela.
Para que este ruedo de la franela quedara bien derecho, coloco los alfileres a la medida, y luego coso a mano para asegurar bien en el momento de coser a máquina. Así la costura quedará más prolija.

All the seams have to be clean, so I always cut the excess threads as I sew, so the work is easier.

Todas las costuras tienen que quedar limpias, así que siempre voy cortando los hilos sobrantes al mismo momento de ir cosiendo, así el trabajo es más fácil.

I also show the process of the other red flannel, remember that I had already said that there were two flannels that were ordered to be made.
