Feliz fin de semana amigos de @needleworkmonday disfruten sus dÃas de descanso en casa, luego de sus jornadas laborales. Yo continuo viendo ideas para entretenerme en casa y aunque son muchas, me gusta seleccionar aquellas que luego me puedan ser útiles cuando reinicie mis costuras, como estas PESAS que vi en la web y me parecieron geniales.
Saben que en ocasiones cuando vamos a cortar prendas algunas telas son muy corredizas y en mi caso coloco el celular o cualquier cosa que tenga a mano y que haga peso para mantener la tela en su sitio y el corte me salga bien, encontré esta idea que me pareció ideal y además super fáciles de hacer.

I continue to see ideas to entertain me at home and although there are many, I like to select those that can be useful when I restart my sewing, like these WEIGHTS that I saw on the web and I thought they were great.
You know that sometimes when we are going to cut garments some fabrics are very slippery and in my case I put the cell phone or anything I have on hand and that makes weight to keep the fabric in place and the cut will come out well, I found this idea that I found ideal and also super easy to do.
Cortamos un rectángulo de 10 x 20 cm tomamos 5 cm de elástico delgado y lo colocamos en uno de los lados del rectángulo que mide 10 cm cerca de una de sus esquinas.
Cut a 10 x 20 cm rectangle, take 5 cm of thin elastic and place it on one of the sides of the rectangle measuring 10 cm near one of its corners.
Doblamos a la mitad el rectángulo y cocemos el lado más cercano a la esquina que tiene el elástico y también el lado que tiene el elástico.
Fold the rectangle in half and sew the side closest to the corner with the elastic and also the side with the elastic.
Doblamos la pieza de manera de pasar costura y cerrar la prenda pero dejaremos un espacio sin coser para voltear la prenda al derecho.
Fold the piece in such a way as to pass the seam and close the garment but leave a space without sewing to turn the garment right side out.
Volteamos la prenda, y por el espacio sin coser vamos a introducir algún elemento que haga peso en mi caso use arroz ayudándome con un embudo. Al terminar cerramos con costura oculta el espacio abierto.
We flip the garment over, and through the space without sewing we are going to introduce some element that makes weight, in my case I used rice helping me with a funnel. When finished, we close the open space with a hidden seam.
Y tendremos lista una herramienta para nuestras costuras, muy fácil, sencilla pero muy útil PESA que nos ayudará a que nuestras telas no se rueden o caigan mientras las cortamos.
And we will have ready a tool for our seams, very easy, simple but very useful, PESA that will help us to prevent our fabrics from rolling or falling while we cut them.
Me gustó mucho la idea pudieran rellenarse con arena bien seca de playa o granos, lo importante es que haga peso. Espero les sea de su agrado esta idea. Saludos y nos leemos pronto.

Son un excelente apoyo a la hora de patronar y cortar, yo los amo. Además, son tan fáciles de ser y con retazos de telas incluso.

Excelente idea amiga yo por lo general corto en un espacio ventilado y sufro mucho por ello, uso el celular, libros o lo que consiga que me haga peso, pero con esta idea tan fenomenal ya sé cómo combatir ese molesto desafÃo, gracias por compartir

Se ve muy bueno este proyecto amiga, de gran utilidad. Yo he visto los tutoriales en lÃnea y he querido hacerlo. Un dÃa de estos será. Se ve fácil de hacer.
