Feliz día amigos y feliz Navidad para tod@s en @needlewormonday, espero hayan pasado una maravillosa Noche Buena en unión familiar. Hoy agradezco poder volver a publicar luego de mis 11 días de operada y con una recuperación cada día mejor gracias a Dios. Nuestros planes pueden cambiar de la noche a la mañana pero lo importante es confiar en el proceso y aquí estamos poco a poco de vuelta disfrutando de lo lindo de las agujas en sus diversos usos.
Quedé con algunos proyectos preciosos por compartirles entre los que está un bello lazo que hice para mi árbol y que le dio ese toque que le faltaba porque aunque monté mi árbol con mucha anticipación sentía que algo le faltaba y por su puesto era esa creación a mano, con amor, que resaltó su belleza y que a todos encantó en casa.
Merry day friends and Merry Christmas to all of you at @needlewormonday, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Eve with your family. Today I am grateful to be able to post again after my 11 days of surgery and with a better recovery every day thanks to God. Our plans can change overnight but the important thing is to trust in the process and here we are little by little back enjoying the beauty of the needles in their various uses.
I was left with some beautiful projects to share with you among which is a beautiful bow I made for my tree and that gave it that touch it was missing because although I assembled my tree with much anticipation I felt that something was missing and of course it was that handmade creation, with love, that highlighted its beauty and that everyone loved at home.
Dependiendo del tamaño del lazo que deseamos hacer cortamos nuestras piezas; en mi caso, en tela de raso rojo navidad, corté una pieza de 1.50 x 60 cm para el lazo en sí, dos piezas de 1.50 x 30 cm para los listones del lazo, al igual que cortamos las mismas piezas en guata para usar de relleno.
Depending on the size of the bow we want to make we cut our pieces; in my case, in Christmas red satin fabric, I cut a piece of 1.50 x 60 cm for the bow itself, two pieces of 1.50 x 30 cm for the ribbons of the bow, as well as cut the same pieces in wadding to use as stuffing.
Tomamos cada pieza de raso (lazo y listones) la doblamos enfrentando derecho y cosemos por todo el ancho (150 cm).
We take each piece of satin (bow and ribbons) and fold it right sides together and sew across the entire width (150 cm).
Lo siguiente será voltear al derecho y vamos a introducir las piezas de guata en cada pieza de raso.
Next we will turn it right side out and we will insert the wadding pieces into each satin piece.
Luego a los listones le hacemos cortes en diagonal en un extremo y los otros extremos los unimos con costura a mano.
Then we make diagonal cuts on one end of the ribbons and join the other ends with hand stitching.
Formamos el lazo doblando y pasando costura a mano, arruchando luego, para después con ayuda de un trozo de tela amarramos los listones al lazo y de una vez tapando cualquier costura central que haya quedado expuesta.
We form the bow by folding and sewing by hand, and then we tie the ribbons to the bow with the help of a piece of fabric, covering any central seam that has been exposed.
Terminando así este bello detalle para mi árbol. Es muy fácil y en pocos minutos lo podemos hacer, no gastamos mucho y creamos un excelente trabajo.
Thus finishing this beautiful detail for my tree. It is very easy and in a few minutes we can do it, we do not spend much and we create an excellent job.
