Hoy es un día muy importante para mí, hoy 22 de marzo celebro la vida y el cumpleaños de mi segunda hija @merlysmont y quiero compartir con ustedes el outfit que he creado exclusivo para que ella y que luzca hermosa en su cumpleaños, a petición de ella le hice un mono tipo palazzo y una blusa de tirantes, ven y te muestro el paso a paso:

Today is a very important day for me, today March 22nd I celebrate the life and birthday of my second daughter @merlysmont and I want to share with you the outfit I created exclusively for her and for her to look beautiful on her birthday, at her request I made her a palazzo jumpsuit and a strappy blouse, come and I'll show you the step by step:

Faltando días para el cumpleaños de mi hija le propuse ir a una tienda y comprarle un pantalón y una blusa, pero ella inmediatamente me dijo que no, me expresó que ella quería su Outfit hecho por mí, esto me lleno de orgullo y emoción, soy una mamá consentidora y me gusta llevarle la ideas a mis hijos.
Mi hija ya tenía una idea de la tela que quería para su atuendo, y del modelo, nos dirigimos a la tienda de telas y consiguió una que le pareció hermosa y era justo lo que ella estaba buscando, hace días vimos en esta tienda que llegaron telas con estilo playero y con diseños hermosos, ella vio un mono hecho con esta tela y le encantó, así que me pasó la idea y pude realizarla, aquí te dejo la lista de materiales a utilizar:
- 2 metros de tela
- elástico de 5 cm de grosor
- hilo
- tijeras
- cinta métrica
- maquina de coser
Just a few days before my daughter's birthday, I suggested going to a store and buying her a pair of pants and a blouse, but she immediately said no. She told me she wanted her outfit made by me. This filled me with pride and excitement. I'm a doting mom and I like to share ideas with my children.
My daughter already had an idea of the fabric and style she wanted for her outfit. We went to the fabric store, and she found one that she thought was beautiful and just what she was looking for. A few days ago, we saw beach-style fabrics with beautiful designs arrive at this store. She saw a jumpsuit made with this fabric and loved it, so she shared the idea with me, and I was able to make it. Here's the list of materials you'll need:
- 2 meters of fabric
- 5 cm thick elastic
- Thread
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Sewing machine

Comenzaremos doblando a la mitad nuestra tela por el lado del revés, lo iba a hacer guiándome por otro mono, pero debido a que esta tela no es Stretch decidí hacer el patrón de pantalón antes de cortar, las botas de este mono son anchas y no quería que me quedara con errores, luego de tener el patrón listo coloqué sobre mi tela y le hice algunos ajustes , aumenté de manera progresiva desde la cadera hasta la bota terminando en esta con 8 cm extra en los laterales y 4 cm extra por la parte del entrepierna, en la cintura le aumenté 4 cm hacia arriba por si decidía colocarle el elástico directamente y 3 cm a los lados.
We will start by folding our fabric in half on the wrong side, I was going to do it based on another jumpsuit, but because this fabric is not Stretch I decided to make the pants pattern before cutting, the boots of this jumpsuit are wide and I did not want to be left with errors, after having the pattern ready I placed it on my fabric and made some adjustments, I progressively increased from the hip to the boot ending here with 8 cm extra on the sides and 4 cm extra around the crotch, at the waist I increased 4 cm upwards in case I decided to put the elastic directly and 3 cm on the sides.

Al tener ya listo el dibujo sobre mi tela comencé a cortarla, para la parte de atrás tuve que darle la vuelta a la tela y comenzar desde la otra orilla, es por esto que se necesitan 2 m de tela ya que el patrón no alcanza para el ancho que trae la tela, las costuras para este mono son sencillas ya que no lleva bolsillos, comenzamos uniendo en el tiro de adelante y de atrás, luego pasamos costuras en los laterales y finalizamos uniendo por el entrepierna, al tenerlo ya todo armado llamé a mi hija para hacerle la primera prueba ya que este llevará elástico en la cintura y no estaba segura si era lo suficientemente ancho para Ponérselo, luego de medírselo le quedó un poquito grande, le metí 1 cm a cada lado y así le quedó perfecto.
Once I had the drawing ready on my fabric I began to cut it, for the back I had to turn the fabric over and start from the other edge, this is why 2 m of fabric are needed since the pattern does not reach for the width that the fabric comes with, the seams for this jumpsuit are simple since it does not have pockets, we start by joining the front and back rise, then we sew seams on the sides and finish by joining at the crotch, once I had everything assembled I called my daughter to do the first test since this will have elastic at the waist and I wasn't sure if it was wide enough to put it on, after measuring it it was a little big, I added 1 cm on each side and it fit perfectly.

Mi hija decidió que llevara elástico en la cintura pero con prétina aparte, así que fui y corté la tela al ancho de la cintura del mono, le di un corte un poco diagonal en los lados para que estilice mejor la figura, esta pretina la hice en dos piezas dobladas a la mitad y de 8 cm de ancho, el elástico lo corté de 80 cm de largo uní con costura, introduje por dentro de la tela de la pretina y pasé costura en la orilla, vi que le hacían falta costuras al elástico así que decidió pasarle dos costuras al mismo.
My daughter decided to have elastic at the waist but with a separate waistband, so I went and cut the fabric to the width of the waist of the jumpsuit, I gave it a slightly diagonal cut on the sides to better stylize the figure, I made this waistband in two pieces folded in half and 8 cm wide, I cut the elastic 80 cm long, joined it with a seam, inserted it inside the waistband fabric and sewed the edge, I saw that the elastic needed seams so I decided to sew two seams on it.

Al tener lista la Pretina la uní con costura al mono, luego le pedí a mi hija que se lo midiera nuevamente y le quedo muy bien, de verdad que nos encantó, ya me faltaba solamente hacerle ruedo, me fui hasta mi máquina le pasé la costura para el ruedo y así ya está listo este lindo mono tipo palazo, qué tal quedo, me gustaría conocer sus opiniones 😊
Once I had the waistband ready, I sewed it to the jumpsuit, then I asked my daughter to measure it again and it fit her very well, we really loved it, I only needed to hem it, I went to my sewing machine, I sewed the hem and now this cute palazzo jumpsuit is ready, how did it turn out? La blusa para combinar este mono la hice en micro rib blanco, el modelo de esta blusa es de tirantes, al finalizar mi hija volvió a medírselo y pude tomarle algunas fotografías, espero tomarle muchas en su celebración de cumpleaños, hoy soy una mamá orgullosa y muy feliz de ver a mi hija luciendo un lindo Outfit hecho con mis propias manos, cada día doy gracias por aprender muchísimo de este hermoso oficio como lo es la costura, y los beneficios maravillosos que obtenemos de ella, eso es todo por hoy de antemano estoy muy agradecido de qué hayas visitado mi Publicación, me despido deseándoles muchos éxitos y bendiciones, hasta otra oportunidad 🥰❤️🪡🧵❤️
