Today I will like to share with you how I made this gown for one of my customers she gave me 1 and half trouser yard of material to sew a gown but she didn’t give me a particular styles so I went to Pinterest to search for styles but the ones I’m seeing the quantity of material can’t sew it.
After searching through and I couldn’t get what I’m looking for and I decided to fold the whole material into four then cut in form of kimono then I measure from the center back to the sleeve length which is 16” then I measured from the shoulder to the waistline to be 16” then the gown length is 38” .

Making a dress sometimes when you don’t actually have a particular styles it look has if maybe have damage the fabric , after cutting the main bodice then I started thinking the kind of neckline that will look different so I thought of making the front buttons down and a loop at the waistline then with a collar then I use the pieces I cut from the side of the gown to cut out the collar.
With this I think I’m able to manage the material well and then I join it and it came out beautiful .
After delivery it to my customer and she try it on and she love the styl😍.
