Good day creative hiver and needlework community how are we all doing today, happy new month to you all . I’m so happy to be here to share this lovely chiffon gown with ruffles at the down part that I made for my neighbor.
Working with chiffon is quite difficult especially when I’m cutting in pieces , before I join it I went through a lot of stress at the cutting process when the material isn’t equally fold and try to adjust it I will find out that the other side is bend too😂😭😭.
I folded the material into four I measure the shoulder then measure 4” for the width neckline then 6” for the length neckline then I folded two inches at back for the zipper allowance then the neck is 1” depth beck is high neckline at the back .
I told my neighbor to sew bubu style with the material but she refused that she has a lot of bubu gown , so I just have to try my best to has this style without error 🤩.
After cutting the bodices I cut out the straight material to making outer ruffles at the down part then I cut out the sleeve .
After cutting I turn it with lining because it transparent then I iron it and came out beautiful 🤩.
Finishing
I delivered the dress to my neighbor and she look happy that the gown is beautiful on her❤️😍.
Thank you for visiting my blog and reading my post i will appreciate your lovely comment and support🤩😍❤️
