I had always wanted to make something for my husband, besides the boxer shorts I have made him and some recycled flannels (I will show them to you later), but when I had tried to make shirts or flannels for him they didn't look so good and that's why he preferred not to try.
However, everything changed when he saw that I had already made several sweaters and sewed them well. That's when he told me: "Now I really want you to make mine" 😸.

Siempre había querido hacerle alguna prenda a mi esposo, además de los bóxer que le he hecho y unas franelas recicladas (luego se las mostraré), pero cuando había intentado arreglarle camisas o franelas no quedaban tan bien y por eso él prefería que no lo intentara.
Sin embargo, todo cambió cuando vio que ya me había hecho varios suéteres y los cosía bien. Ahí me dijo: "Ahora sí quiero que me hagas el mío" 😸
I armed myself with my men's long sleeve flannel pattern and, although the pattern doesn't have a hood and pocket pattern, I took the risk of taking them from a cold weather sweater pattern.
This is a cool fabric, so it doesn't fit like a coat, sweater or sweatshirt to keep out the cold. It is a casual flannel but with a hood and front pocket.
I had several inconveniences: the fabric turned out to be super delicate, I didn't know what size my husband's cowl is exactly and I had never sewn a cowl before. That made me a little tense, to be honest, as I was sewing and it took me several days to finish it, but I was able to do it thanks to God and here I want to tell you how:

Eso me puso un poco tensa, la verdad, a medida que iba cosiendo y me tomó varios días terminarla, pero pude hacerla gracias a Dios y aquí quiero decirles como:

Since I wanted to make a combination of two colors (blue and gray) and I had enough fabric to cut it, I made this design with top and bottom cut.
