NWM||crochet a Micky mouse 🐁

Hello guys! I hope you all are doing good and enjoying mental peace. Happy ramadan to all of you. As you all know ramadan has started and i am very happy and feeling blessed to have the ability to fast during this month. In 2024 it was my first ramadan in university and I faced alot of difficulties in managing time probably because of class timings. But this year my classes routine is perfect and I am able to enjoy my sleep and attend the classes and manage everything. And this time management also allowed me to not forget about my hobby. Which is crocheting. So here is my new Crochet project .

As you all know I always find difficulties in finding the right inspirations for my projects. But I have overcome this difficulty. Now what I do is I go to youtube in my leisure time and explore different things. There is a section called crochet. This is a feature of youtube to show people the things they like and do. So if you want to find inspiration for something just search for that thing,open three to four videos and then your youtube feed will be according to your interests. Same I did for this micky mouse. I find this tutorial a week or two weeks before and I saved it in watch later section. So when I decided to crochet I did not have to search and waste my time. I just grabbed my yarn and crochet hook and started the process.

I usually say that the process was easy because there were only sc. But this was not easy . As you can see there are 5 different colors used for thus very small thing so I had to change the colors alot which was very difficult. Especially in the face section the beige and black changing was the most difficult part. At a point I was about to give up but then I told myself that it was about to end. When the body started there were more colors added to it. It was a difficult task to handle these colors in such a small space. But I managed to complete it somehow. I was despising myself that why would I choose such difficult task in the first place but practice makes a man perfect. So next time if I were to made such project it will not be that difficult.

When the body was complete I stuffed it with polyester. And it was complete. But the face was a bit unsymmetrical. The beige part was not aligned properly. It was not very obvious but for me I always need perfection In my projects. So as I could not open the whole thing I took a hook and black yarn and covered the part which was more on one side. After that it was perfect and complete. I did the face embroidery and added a keyring. Then I took it to my university. My friends liked it alot. And then I did the photoshoot.
