Crochet a teddy bear 🧸 with problematic velvet yarn for the first time.

Hello!!How you all are doing. I hope you are doing good and enjoying mental health. Thus post is not like my usual posts. This is very special to me because for the first time I made a big and also very great project. I started this 2 4 days ago and completed it very fast because I was very curious about the outcome. And also it was like a challenge for me to complete it fast and good. I think I did a great job.
Have a look at the teddy I made.

I used the velvet yarn for the first time. Let me tell you the back story how It ended up into a teddy. So my sister bought two velvet yarns one in off white and one navy blue. She wanted me to make a bennie for her. I said OK. We bought yarns. And the next day when I tried making beenie out of it it was not working. The yarn I don't know was of low quality or whatever the reason was not turning into a bennie. First problem was I couldn't see the sts. And I was not stretchy at all. A beanie needs to be stretchy in order to fit your head. I made something somehow. But then I realized I made everything wrong. Because it was meant to be hdc slip st but instead I made HDC. so I tried to open it up to start new. But the yarn was falling apart. The velvet yarn I see on social media is very soft and delicate but this was like a tread with velvet fur on it. When I tried pulling it out it was breaking. I tried many times but at the end u gave up. So my sister was disappointed and she ended up asking her friend to make her a beenie. But her friend also gave up. Then we asked my friend for help and she said that she had tried every method but nothing is working. So I said OK. Let's use it in another way. And I decided to make a teddy 🧸 bear.

I already knew the problems of yarn so I worked very carefully and with patience. The most difficult part of it was pulling the magic ring close. I made magic ring for head, body, ears, legs, arms. And believe me for each and everything I made magic ring 2 to 3 times.

The pattern was easy. It was same as every amugrumis I made before. But the only difference was the size of bear. It was huge for me. I made the head ,body separately and attached them together with the needle. Then I made ears , legs arms separately and attached them too. Then I moved ahead with the face part. I thought I was very good at face embroidery. And I thought I have mastered the face embroidery but this teddy bear made me realize that I was wrong. Because I made the eyes 4 5 times and every time they were just not perfect for me. So I unsew them and start again. When I completed the eyes and moved towards the smile it was the hardest thing ever. But somehow I also solved that issue.

Then I made the jacket and put it on the teddy and it was completed. The jacket part was not hard except the neckline ribbing. It was kind of difficult for me. And this is all about the process.
Here are some final pictures.
