Hello guys! I hope you all are doing great and enjoying mental peace. Today was a beautiful day. The sun was pretty and there was a little signs of spring. And by the spring i mean my favourite season. I love everything about this season the cinematography ,birds ,plants and everything suddenly become very pretty. It felt like they've healed from the autumn 🍂. But again autumn has its own story we can't see it means trauma (as said by some people). It has its own beauties and perks. Let's talk about the thing that I've crochet to show you guys.
There are two stories behind this project. One is related to the inspiration and the other one is need. So I recently got a tote bag and I really want to decorate with some cute keychains of mine but the problem was they all have the keyring attach to them and can't be attached with the strap of bag. Intact I try to attach my mickymouse keychain with the starp as it was complimenting the color but the keyring could not fit the strap and I ruined it. So now I have to attach a new keyring to it. To tackle this problem I decided to make a chain as the keyring with the yarn and then wrap it around the strap. So I started making it by following the pattern that was saved I my youtube. I made the orange hat first.
Then to the body I attached the face part for which I used the beige yarn. So I have mentioned above that there were two reasons why I choose to crochet this. So the second reason was that oranges are the heart of winter season. I love oranges and I always eat alot of them in winters. So as the winter is approaching the end I thought I should pay an honour to the oranges by doing something. And I did what I am best at (crochet). I don't really think that much before starting any project . I just see and make it. But for this I put alot of thoughts and efforts.
When I started the body it was supposed to be crocheting the back loop of 3rd last st of the hat but I mistakenly made it because second last one . So I had to open 2 rounds to make it perfect. Then I stuffed the body with the polyester. The body was easy peasy. It only had 30sc in 4 rounds then decreases. And after the body was complete I moved to the face emb part. After that I made the little leaf and stalk and attached it with the head. At the very end I made a large string which can be able to fit the strap beacuse it will be folded as well so it was pretty long. After the strap it was complete. I attached it with my bag. And took it in the university.
I got alot of compliments from my friends and even from strangers.
