NWM|| crochet a parrot 🦜

Hello!everyone I hope you all are doing great a enjoying great mental health. I am doing great and I think you all can guess why? It's because my exams are over and I am also over the moon. I am finally relieved after along period of time. These exams were really really exhausting. I have never been this much tired from the exams. But Thank God they are over and now I can finally focus on my life. I feel like I am free from a burden that was placed on my shoulders.So priorities first. As soon as I am over with my exams I am here with my new creative crochet projects.

So today i made this beautiful parrots 🦜. Actually I was not today I started it 4 5 days before but I couldn't continue due to (again) exams. So before starting anything new I thought I should complete this little buddy. I was searching for keychains patterns because when I started crochet I used to make them and you always have loved them so I thought let's do something like that. So I went to youtube and searched for a while but couldn't find anything. Everything felt old. So I thought I should think of something on my own and then search for pattern. So when I started thinking the very first thing that came to my mind was parrot. My mind was like let's goo.

I find this very beautiful pattern on youtube. And decided to make it. I choose the color. Color choice was a difficult task but I thought let's not make things complex and go with basic yellow and green combo. It was a good idea BTW. I started making the head with yellow yarn and did 5 rounds for the head part. Then the body was completed using green yarn. Also the tail was new thing to me. I was making this attached tail for the very first time. Because for teddies and amugrumis I always make the tail separately and then attached them with the body at the end but this time the tail was very small. So I made it already attached.

Then i added the beak and eyes to the face. For the beak I used gray yarn and for eyes obviously black. I feel like j am writing after so long I don't know why bacause I has not really been that long but anyways. I added the keyring. And the needle story continued. If you don't know I lost my needles and now I make the eyes and attach the keyring using the crochet hook. Difficult task(isn't it). But I will get it soon.
The parrot 🦜 was completed and I took it to the university with me my friends liked it very much because it was so cute and tiny. I did the photoshoot in the university and here are the final pictures.
