Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing good and enjoying great mental health. I am participating in needleworkmonday contest after a very long time. And let me give you guyz updates. So i am back to the hostel beacause my vacations are over. My new semester has started and today was the first day and as I always I took a holiday today beacuse I have not done any shopping for new semester. Anyways the project I am going to share today was made during my holidays.
I missed my home already. In these holidays my father went back abroad after whole 2 years and it was very sad. Beacause living together with him for 2 years constantly made us realize how special he is for us and also he did not want to go. But due to his work and job he had to go. It made me very sad that even though he don't want to go and want to stay with us he have to go anyways. But I hope he can come back soon without any obstacles. Let me talk a bit about my project. I have saved this project on my youtube for a long time and I always ended up making another thing and leaving this . So this time I could not find anything else and decided to make this. I started with the face part. I used 2ply yarn to make the main part and the purple part was made using the 4ply yarn.
At first I planned to use only one color for the whole thing but during the process I thought I would be better to use another colored yarn. And purple was giving good vibes so I decided to use that. The body was easy as it only include sc and dec. I stuffed the body and did not close it. Making the fins was very exiting. Beacuse I have never made this type of wings before. The pattern I was following said that you can freestyle it bacause fish can have different wings and different size but as It was my first time I only followed the tutorial as it was without any editing.
After the wings I added the side wings I did not followed the tutorial I made them myself. Then I made the eyes with needle ๐ชก. And it was the last step. After that I grabbed my father's phone to do the photoshoot. And here are some final pictures.
Now that my father is gone I cannot have his phone for my project's photoshoot anymore. That made me a bit sad. He liked this keychain very much. I forgot to give him any keychain or any project of mine. But no worries I will make sure to give him next time. That was all about the project and little updates.
