Hello!everyone I hope you all are doing great a enjoying great mental health. My routine has changed alot. I am enjoying my break after papers. So I woke up late this morning and as soon as I woke I started crochet this keychain. The weather was very cold today. I think it is going to rain soon. So last time I posted my parrot keychain you guys loved it so much so here I am again with my new keychain idea.
I sat in my cozy bed and opened my yarn bag and put out everything that was needed to complete this keychain. The things I needed were yarn, crochet hook, scissors, and tapestry πͺ‘ . I once made a ghost you guys might remember so I am thinking of making the whole collection of Halloween related stuff. Although the Halloween is over but it is not related to Halloween occasion. It is just the theme that i want to give a try.I started the bottom part the an orange yarn. The pattern was very simple and easy. It only include making 18 chains βοΈ then doing hdc in the back loops. This is the same pattern I always follow to make cap, scarfs. So pattern was the easy part.
For this pumpkin.I made 18 rows. If you want your pumpkin to be bigger than mine you can add more rows but keep in mind that the rows should be multiple of two. I completed the rows and attached it from both ends using slip st. After that I closed the upper end exactly like the method used to close the ends of a cap.After that I stuffed it with the polyester. I used the pillow polyester. If you guys have tried the pillow polyester you surely have idea how that polyester is different from the regular one. I used that and it was so cozy and squeezeable that I decided that I will used the pillow polyester for my amugrumis and teddies π§Έ from now on.
When i stuffed it and closed the other end it was looking like an orange π. I first thought that I should end it that way but then I cancelled that plan of orange and decided to continue it and complete it as a pumpkin. I completed the base part and added a green part at the end. After that I added the very last part the keyring.
It was complete and I did the photoshoot. Here are some final pictures.
