NWM || crochet lily 🌸🌸

Hi everyone. I hope you're doing good and enjoying great mental health. The weather these days is beautiful and sunny but there are little signs of summers. And summer here are very extreme. I am already very terrified that I can't even enjoy this weather. But my favourite season spring has started. I absolutely love this season more than anything else. Spring is all about flowers. There are flowers everywhere. So my new project is about the same topic I.e flowers.

Lillies and spring are deeply connected ad many varieties of Lillies bloom during the spring season bringing vibrance and beauty to the gardens. Actually I was planning to crochet a bouquet for my best friend because me and her are friends for years but not really gifted eachother anything special. So she's been asking me to meet her and I am planning to surprise her with a beautiful bouquet and the very first flower that I could think of was Lillies.

I saw many inspirations on the pinterest. There were alot of beautiful bouquet so I decided to merge them by choosing the flowers that I like in those bouquets. The first thing as I've told is lily. But after this I will crochet daisy , Rose and leaves and other things According to my mood. Now let's talk about this one. My university friend recently learnt how to crochet and she really likes flowers. She crochet a lily but did not add the craft wires. And without craftwire the flower did not stay in position. As she is new she could not use the wires and was asking me to teach her how to use wires so I will teach her now that I know how to use them. I forget to mention that this is my first time using these wires. And it is totally because I could not find these wires anywhere. And few days back I went to a stationery to bought something and there I saw these wires. I grabbed it in no time. And today I find the time to finally use them.

Working with them is not easy and not very difficult but if you are new to crochet it can be very difficult to handle. I made 6 petals. And used 3 wires. The wires were only needed for the first row 2nd row was made without using them. After completing the leaves i moved to the middle part. After that I assembled them using yarn. I thought there would be use of glue gun but there was not. And the flower was complete. I was thinking of making other flowers for the bouquet but I have many pending assignments so I could not.
After the completion I went to do the photoshoot and here are some final pictures.
