Hi Needleworkers,
It’s been a while since I wrote about my needle work. Not because I discontinued needlework but I was bit busy with my job.
Oneday I wanted to try out a new project and went through the internet to find a pattern. There were lot of patterns I liked. But, this time I wanted to try something different. Something that is not much common. We can see many common crochet toys such as animals, dolls, cartoons, flowers and so on.
While I was on search I saw a short video which is incredible. A flower turns into a fairy. And the fairy can turn back into a flower. Isn’t it amusing? That’s a perfect project for me. And a perfect gift for anyone.
So I search for “Crochet flower fairy” in youtube and found many different tutorials. We can crochet them into different flower. i choose this flower which looks like a rose. Here I have attached the link as well. Youtube tutorial for Crochet Flower Fairy
It took me only couple of hours to crochet and assemble it. I have used a kebab stick as the stem and a craft wire to hold the leaf. This is no hard project, even a beginner can try this out.
Since I did it in a hurry, I couldn’t get any step by step photographs. You can see how it looks like a flower. And how beautiful it looks like a fairy.
For turning the flower into the fairy, all we have to do is turn the petals upside down one by one. And doing it other way around, we can turn the fairy into the flower.
We can use this into the crochet flower bouquets as well as single flower gifts. And maybe using a bunch of them, we can make a bouquet for graduations.
Comment your ideas on it. Thanks and have a nice day!
wow what a beautiful flower, I congratulate you, it is a well elaborated work, it looks great.
Thank you so much. It is indeed a beautiful one
of that there is no doubt
I loved this idea! Although you say that it is not difficult for me to add toothpicks, wires or other objects, it is a little difficult for me, but in your case it is exceptional! I love the idea of the flower becoming a fairy and vice versa. I will surely watch the video to try it sometime! Congratulations on your work and I wish you a nice Monday!
You can skip using the wire for the leaf if it is hard for you. Inserting stick is not much hard. Hope you will be able to do a good job as well 👏
Thank you very much! good advice, I will try it for sure! Anyway I was delighted with your final result!
This is really unique and creative just like the fairly living in flowers we have often watched in several cartons. Thanks for sharing dear.
Yes indeed. That’s why it becomes a perfect gift for anyone.
Amazing, this is a project I would love to take up only if I knew how to crochet, my daughter would love a crocheted toy this cute.
Great job!
Maybe one-day you can learn and create it for your daughter.

This is really creative and beautiful. Wow! This is the first time I’m seeing something like this. I love how the fairy even looks after it has transitioned from a flower.
Great job
