Dust out my project in dungeon for WIP challenge | Amigurumi Olaf

in NeedleWorkMonday2 years ago

Hello Everyone,

I am writing this post to confirm my participation for the WIP Challenge. Thank you so much @needleworkmonday for organizing this.

After seeing the WIP challenge, it came into my mind “The project” in my dungeon. Yeah I have one in there. So I decided to dust it out and start over with this encouragement.

My work in progress is an amigurumi Olaf. If you have watched the movie Frozen, you probably know the Olaf.

Image from my Amigurumi class

Olaf is the snowman who loves summer, beach and sun🙊.

This pattern was given by the instructor of our crochet class. I have started it so late but it is almost 5 or 6 months in a corner of my crochet work bucket. This amigurumi Olaf is one of the inspirations why I started amigurumi at first place.

In the first day of our course she showed it to us and I thought I will definitely do it. The cartoon character is also loved by myself. Even if I have started this project, I could only do the part of the head. Then I was distracted by many reasons.

It was only here

First one among many reasons is, I gave the priority to small projects rather than finishing this one. When I get used to small amigurumis, I forgot this for a while. With the free time I had, it was easy to make small ones than doing a big one. Another reason is I had to manage my new job in this time period.

Anyhow, when I saw the WIP challenge, I thought I should give it a shot since there are two months for us to complete the project. So, I will bring the progress week by week and try my best to complete Olaf. So he can sunbathe in my garden 😁.

I hope you can successfully complete your wip. Greetings and blessings.

Thank you so much.

Congratulations to your new job. No wonder you could not find time to finish this amigurumi, a new job always means a lot of work and adaption. I hope you will have a bit more time in the next weeks. Looking forward to your progress.

Yeah I need to manage some time for it in between my work and daily life.

Wow I love these amigurum of a snow man, you did an awesome job on the project.

Thank you. Will take some time to complete it.
