Guess the WIP: The Reveal

Happy Monday everyone! It has been such a long week, I did not realize it was Monday again. Last Monday, I revealed the main part of last week's guess the WIP contest. Seeing the guesses from the participants was really exciting! And I'm glad to see new names joining the guessing game. Before anything else, I'd like to give the following a big hand.

The Reveal

This was actually part of my headset cover series. The first one was for a Hello Kitty designed headset cover and the second one was for a Bunny Ears headset cover.

I posted those on facebook and one of my husband's friends asked if I also make minnie mouse designs. It took me some time, it took the yarn supplies some time before I could continue and finish this up.

It was lucky that three days ago, the colorful buttons I ordered finally arrived. I had to improvise the buttons for the earsavers I donated a few months ago and now, I just have so much buttons at my disposal.

Cheers to the Frontliners Behind the Phones

Althroughout the pandemic, our brave frontliners in the customer service, particularly in the contact centers have been carrying our economy on their shoulders. To us staying at home, all they look like are just people taking phone calls, answering questions from all kinds of customers - young, old, educated, irate, and everything in between. I've been in their shoes. And though I have hung my headset a long time ago even before I resigned, I still remember how it was to be on the frontlines behind the phones. And as of now, I am not sure if I could once again take on the pressures of being the person who is supposed to know everything and have the answers to all the questions to be thrown at them - both by their customers, their peers, and their bosses.

Thank you for smiling after hearing that beep that signals the start of a potentially stressful conversation and for keeping that smile even after braving the storms of heavy queueing and influx of irate callers.

Contest Winner

I know I said participants are supposed to make just one guess but one of their guesses were really close to the correct answer. So, just this once, I am allowing a second guess.
