I've been busy for the past 2 weeks since I came back home from Singapore. Though I am still not yet done, I have to write also and blog something, most especially to my favorite community "Needlework Monday".
Here is my share
DIY Crochet Hanging Planter
Materials used
Scissor
Yarn 8 ply
5mm hook
Pattern:
Chain 10 and make a ring
1st round : Make 4 dc , chain 4
Repeat 4 times
2nd round : make 2 slip stitch
5 dc and 4 chain
Repeat on every spaces with 2 chains in between
3rd round: make 6 dc amd 5 chains
Repeat on every spaces , no chains
4th round: make 7 dc and 6 chains
Repeat 5 times
( if your planter is big just add chains on every corner )
Make 50 chains or more depends on how long you like your planter.
Do it 5 times. Put some plastic beads to finish it.
Tie them together. Put your planter and hang it wherever you want on you house.

Oh that's interesting to do it with crochet! I have a board and pins to do macrame ones that I inherited from someone but I haven't tried it yet. GTK I can do it with crochet too! I always need plant hangers... :)
