This weekend I continued working on my Jammin’ tapestry, this is what I made: sun and clouds. I wanted a centered sun, as island life is all about sun. When sun is up, everything is moving... when sun is down... you hear only crickets...
As you know from my previous posts, my technique is mixed media, main ingredient felt.
I started by drawing the sun and clouds on paper, than cutting each piece out and tracing on my colorful pieces of felt. Sometimes I draw directly on felt, but this time I did the paper first.
After all felt pieces were cut, I stitched them temporarily on the tapestry cloth. Later on, I will secure them with tiny stitches and after that I will do a contour, maybe with some golden cord. I will figure out. 🤔
This is how it looks now, will come back when I feel like 🤪, maybe next Saturday. I will update soon!

Yeah, when I will finish it 😂🤣😂 who knows when? I started it 10 years ago, when I lived in Virgin Islands, no kidding.
