| En diciembre planeamos recibir año nuevo en la ciudad de mérida, donde vive la familia de mi esposo, y es la ciudad donde estudie en la universidad, también, la verdad me encanta ir y siempre encuentro buenos planes para pasear y conocer, además de lo cotidiano, visitar el teleférico, que es una experiencia, siendo el más alto y largo del mundo, este año super especial porque pudimos ir con mi cachorra por primera vez, ya que por la altura, 4000msnm, no permiten que niños menores de 5 años suban hasta Pico Espejo, rste año encontré una granja donde crían gusanos de seda, si exacto en Mérida Venezuela | |

| He aqui, los hacedores de Seda, asi es estos son los famosos gusanos de seda, según aprendimos, son el animal que tiene más años domesticado, tanto que ya no se encuentra en la vida silvestre y si este fuese puesto a vivir salvaje no sobreviviría ya que no cuenta con ninguna protección, como ven es super blanco y no tiene pelitos, tampoco se desplaza mucho, asi que si no tiene comida cerca, muere de hambre, aqui como es una ciudad del tropico, clima fresco todo el año, en esta finca los hacen transitar por las 4 estaciones artificialmente, asi logran completar el ciclo de vida de gusano a mariposa acortando los tiempos reales de las estaciones, en esta parte del paseo se nos permite tocar a los capullos y los gusanos, tremenda experiencia. | |

| Ahora entramos en el taller, bueno se estima que de cada capullo se puede devanar hasta 1500mts de hebra, aqui se usan 8 filamentos (la hebra de cada capullo) para crear un hilo, aqui tejen en telares, tienen uno que lonprestan para completar la experiencia, y otros en los que se puede observar el maravilloso proceso de sus creaciones, cuentan hasta con uno electrónico manejado por computadora,creo que no le tome foto, los otros con procesos mas artesanales y manuales, estan experimentando con la mezcla de fibras que se consiguen en el país, yo quede enamorada de la mezcla de moriche y seda, le dejos muchas fotos para que se enamoren también. | |
