Rescued Skirt

in NeedleWorkMonday • 4 years ago

Unfortunately I was not able to deliver my post yesterday 😥 But I still want to participate, albeit belatedly 😉

My friend gave me a lot of good clothes made of natural fabric. She gained a lot of weight, but hoped that she could lose weight, so these things remained with her. But recently she decided to make a revision of her clothes and part with those that she has not worn for a long time.

One of her lovely skirts was factory defective.

I found a pink ribbon at home and decided to sew it to my skirt on a sewing machine. It was scary!!!!

Here's what happened! I will not take close-ups of this 😅

The tape completely covered this place. I can not see anything!!!

Hooray! I was able to save it! Now I have a wonderful skirt: beautiful, bright and made of natural fabric !!!

I am sure, dear girls-needlewomen, that you will have a wonderful and fruitful week ahead !!! 🌼

It is AMAZING what a simple trim or a piece of lace can cover, repair and hide! Nice job and GREAT to have a serviceable (and really nice!) piece of clothing you feel good about.

Thank you!!! Nowadays, it is not so easy to buy clothes made from natural fabrics. so I am very happy when I can save such a thing
