White blouse decoration

in NeedleWorkMonday4 days ago

Good Monday to all our creative community!!! I hope this week has been productive for you and that you are doing well!

One of my friends gave me her white blouse. I really liked this model and the natural fabric of the blouse.

But I like everything bright and so I decided to decorate this blouse a little. During my stay in a small yarn store that I really love, I found lace that I liked. It was this lace that I wanted to add to the blouse.

My first idea was to just add lace to the sleeves. These cute hearts and flowers lay beautifully on the fabric.

Look how the blouse looks with this decoration.

The sleeve now looks very bright and festive.

I must say that this type of work is quite painstaking since you need to sew on every petal of the flower. But I was in no hurry, so I sewed at my own pace.

When I finished the second sleeve, then, in principle, my idea had already been implemented. But I was wondering if I should sew lace around the neckline too.

I thought the neckline looked pale without lace.

I even made a collage to clearly see whether to sew lace at the neckline or not.

Without lace, the neckline seemed uninteresting to me. And I decided to continue my work. This is my final result!

To be honest, I like simple projects like this as interim projects while I'm working on something bigger. It helps to switch things up a bit so that a big project doesn't leave you feeling burned out. After all, when you do something small in the process and see the end result, you get pleasure and satisfaction. And this, in turn, gives inspiration to continue the big project.

That's why I often have several projects at work at the same time.
