Algunos los deseché porque me di cuenta que no lograre el resultado resistente y durable que quiero con los materiales disponibles en este momento 😢 💦
Pero por el contrario, hay otros que con algunos ajustes he conseguido mejores piezas, aunque todavía me quede mucho por mejorar en caso quiera producir cositas en masa con intensiones comerciales y no solo como pasatiempo.
Hoy encontré las fotos de las ultimas mini-carteras que hice con forma de paletita de helado y definitivamente tenía que compartirlas (estoy orgullosa de ellas) 😳 ✨

Today I found the photos of the last mini-bags I made in the shape of popsicle sticks and I definitely had to share them (I'm proud of them) 😳 ✨

Creo que el diseño original lo hice en 2019, era una propuesta mucho más pequeña, apenas cabía un celular, las tarjetas y algo de dinero, estaba pensado para niñas pequeñitas así que no tenía que ser tan espacioso, era más una cosa ornamental que una cartera funcional.
I think I made the original design in 2019, it was a much smaller proposal, it barely fit a cell phone, cards and some money, it was meant for little girls so it didn't have to be so spacious, it was more of an ornamental thing than a functional wallet.
Pero algo muy gracioso paso, si bien a las niñas les llamo la atención, los adultos fueron los que enloquecieron con estas carteras 😅
But something very funny happened, even though the girls were impressed by them, the adults were the ones who went crazy with these wallets 😅
Para cuando me las comisionaron de nuevo, las modifiqué en alto y ancho, y esta vez les cabían muchas más cosas (además de lo mencionado arriba, ahora cabía un compacto, un pañuelo y quizá algunos snack para el camino más un peine para el cabello) 🍫 💄📱 💳 💯
By the time they were commissioned again, I modified them in height and width, and this time they could fit a lot more stuff (besides the above mentioned, now they could fit a compact, a handkerchief and maybe some snacks for the road plus a hair comb) 🍫💄📱 💳 💯
También he hecho otro modelo de carteras para niñas, pero de formas más tradicionales. Todas siempre tienen un fondo de madera resistente pero fino (escondido debajo del forro), para soportar el peso y no desfigurarse con las cosas que llevan dentro.
I have also made other models of wallets for girls, but with more traditional shapes. All of them always have a strong but thin wooden bottom (hidden under the lining), to support the weight and not to be disfigured by the things inside.
Actualmente en la confección me sigo consiguiendo con los mismos problemas, al no tener una máquina de coser industrial, es difícil rematar con una costura fuerte el cuero sintético, o lograr uniones con varias capas. Siempre me quedo preocupada por el área del cierre por ejemplo.
Nowadays, I still have the same problems in the sewing process, since I don't have an industrial sewing machine, it is difficult to finish the synthetic leather with a strong seam, or to achieve joints with several layers. I am always worried about the zipper area for example.
Algo que tampoco he solucionado del diseño es cómo instalarle forro dentro, es decir, el acabado por fuera es bonito pero por dentro son algo rusticas.
One thing I haven't figured out about the design either is how to install the lining inside, i.e., the finish on the outside is nice but inside they are somewhat rustic.
Al voltearlas, aun la parte de madera no está instalada y debe haber una abertura abajo para introducirla y pegarla firmemente a la base de madera interna, instalar el forro antes haría que el pegamento manchara toda la tela por dentro.
When flipping them over, even the wooden part is not installed and there must be an opening underneath to insert it and glue it firmly to the internal wooden base, installing the lining before would make the glue stain all the fabric on the inside.
Aquí puede verse el tamaño comparado con mi mano, y me siento especialmente orgullosa de sus dimensiones porque no solo son lindas sino que se sienten muy bien cargarla.
Quiero decir que no se siente desechable ✅

No recuerdo si publiqué aquí en Hive la primera versión de este proyecto, que es rosado y con muchas perlas donde se supone iría la cobertura del helado.
En ese entonces las perlas eran de buena calidad pero, al fin y al cabo, de plástico, y todos sabemos que pasa con la cascara de pintura de las perlas sintéticas (se despegan con los golpes y el uso) 👀 ⚡
I don't remember if I posted here on Hive the first version of this project, which is pink and with lots of pearls where the ice cream topping was supposed to go.
Back then the beads were of good quality but, after all, plastic, and we all know what happens to the paint shell of synthetic beads (they peel off with bumps and use) 👀 ⚡
Por esa razón para esta segunda propuesta escogí solo colocar un lacito en el frente con bastante UHU.
A veces cuando elaboro cosas o hago crafting, se me olvida que no todos tienen manos delicadas, y que las cosas necesitan estar hechas para soportar golpes, ser jaloneadas o aplastadas.
That's why for this second proposal I chose to just put a bow on the front with a lot of UHU.
Sometimes when I make things or do crafting, I forget that not everyone has delicate hands, and that things need to be made to withstand bumps, being pulled or crushed.
La próxima vez que haga este diseño me gustaría hacerle un topping estilo decoden, pero con incrustaciones de diferentes tamaños y texturas.
El efecto de crema del decoden (o "dekoden) lo consigo utilizando pintura para tela pero de la que viene en presentación de tubitos con aplicador muy fino.
Next time I make this design I would like to do a topping in the style of decoden, but with inlays of different sizes and textures.
The cream effect of the decoden (or "dekoden") is achieved by using fabric paint, but the kind that comes in a tube with a very fine applicator.
Y bueno, lamento no haber hecho de esta entrada un tutorial, solo quería mostrar un trabajo que me gustó mucho su resultado, y si voy a escribir un tutorial debo estar segura de que lo que muestro y explico es absolutamente funcional.
(¿Has visto la cara de los niños o jóvenes cuando tratan de imitar esos tutoriales en Youtube tan famosos, y nada les queda bien? Entonces creen que no tienen la habilidad suficiente o que hicieron algo mal, y pues no, no es así, la realidad es que el supuesto tutorial es un disparate. Me da mucho coraje).
No estoy muy de acuerdo ni me siento cómoda con esos tutoriales que dicen las cosas a medias, o te enseñan a hacer cosas que no van a soportar el uso y se romperán el primer día.
Btw!, ¡recomiéndame colores por favor! No soy muy buena escogiendo colores para este tipo de proyectos ~ 😅 🌈

(Have you seen the face of children or young people when they try to imitate those tutorials on Youtube so famous, and nothing looks good? Then they think they don't have enough skill or that they did something wrong, and well no, it's not like that, the reality is that the supposed tutorial is nonsense. It makes me very angry).
I don't really agree or feel comfortable with those tutorials that say things half way, or teach you how to make things that won't stand up to use and will break the first day.

Me encantó este modelo, demasiado cute! Obvio lo usaría.
Podrías utilizar para darle forma rígida y sea fácil lavarlas sin que se deforme o se estropee hay un plástico muy resistente que es finito. Voy a buscar el nombre y te lo paso un familiar que es tapicero lo utiliza para los bolsos y es perfecto... Y en cuanto a los colores todos funcionan amarillo, anaranjado, rojo, rosado. Son paletas se verán hermosas de cualquier color!

Qué original diseño! Una paleta de helado, es demasiado cool. Me encantan esos colores que has usado. En verde limón, en color vainilla, en violeta también lucirían espectaculares estas carteras.
Me gustaría ayudarte en un material para el forro, pero no conozco, y es cierto lo que mencionas sobre el acabado, que bueno lo notas y quieres lograr que sea perfecto.

Hola. El modelo está novedoso. Sobre los colores, le pondría colores con diseños de flores, animalitos u hojas. Aunque al tratarse de chupetes (paletas), serían colores de los sabores como el morado (chicha morada) o rosa pastel (fresa con leche) estaría bien, creo. ¡Buenas vibras!.
