Saludos queridos Needleworkers, feliz madrugada de lunes de agujas, mi misión era dejar este post ayer domingo pero mis datos telefónicos no lo permitieron. 🤗♥️ Espero tengan un maravilloso día, hoy lunes de #needleworkmonday.
En esta oportunidad les vengo a compartir mi participación al concurso Needleworĸ Yoυr Kitchen, abro mi participación con un lindo delantal con bolsillo delantero, les cuento que este delantal fué un encargo que me hizo mi querido amigo Luis Roque, el trabaja con decoraciones, comida y pasteleria, le coloqué un bolsillo en la parte delantera que seguro será de mucha utilidad, el color fue elección de él. Desde que comenzó el concurso pensé en hacer algo diferente, pero de repente me llegó un mensaje de Luis diciéndome que necesitaba un delantal y EURECA!!! ya encontré que hacer. Quiero agradecer a @kattycrochet por siempre traernos inspiración y motivarnos con todas estás iniciativas y concursos y a todas la comunidad de @needleworkmonday en general gracias por el apoyo.

This time I come to share my participation to the contest Needleworĸ Yoυr Kitchen, I open my participation with a nice apron with front pocket, I tell you that this apron was an order that my dear friend Luis Roque made me, he works with decorations, food and pastry, I put a pocket on the front that will surely be very useful, the color was his choice. Since the contest started I thought about doing something different, but suddenly I got a message from Luis telling me that I needed an apron and EURECA!!! I found what to do. I want to thank @kattycrochet for always bringing us inspiration and motivating us with all these initiatives and contests and to all the @needleworkmonday community in general thanks for the support.
Cuando fuí a comprar la tela para este delantal conseguí tela de Drill Sahara que es una tela bastante resistente, y los detalles en negro los hice con semicuero para tapicería, es mi primera vez realizando un delantal y tarde un poco en tenerlo listo, espero disfruten este post, y comencemos con el paso a paso.
When I went to buy the fabric for this apron I got Drill Sahara fabric which is a very resistant fabric, and the black details were made with semi leather for upholstery, this is my first time making an apron and it took me a while to get it ready, I hope you enjoy this post, and let's start with the step by step.
Necesitaremos || We will need
Para este proyecto necesitaremos tela drill color mostaza o el de tu preferencia, semicuero negro, utilicé hilo negro y mostaza, Alfileres, Tijera, Cinta métrica, un delantal modelo, un par de ajustadores de asas, Aguja y máquina de coser.
For this project we will need drill fabric mustard color or the one of your preference, black semi leather, I used black and mustard thread, pins, scissors, tape measure, a model apron, a pair of handle adjusters, needle and sewing machine.
Paso 1 || Step 1
En casa tenía este delantal que utilicé como guía y patrón, tomé la tela de drill y la coloqué en una superficie plana, sobre la tela coloqué mi delantal patrón y corté una pieza entera, también corté una pieza de refuerzo que va solo en la parte superior Omo la que te muestro en la segunda imagen.
Debemos tener en cuenta el centímetro que debemos dejar para el margen de costura, yo le dejé 2cm para el dobladillo.
- At home I had this apron that I used as a guide and pattern, I took the drill fabric and placed it on a flat surface, on the fabric I placed my pattern apron and cut a whole piece, I also cut a reinforcement piece that goes only at the top Omo the one I show you in the second image.
- We must take into account the centimeter that we must leave for the seam allowance, I left 2cm for the hem.
Paso 2 || Step 2
Antes de coser la pieza de refuerzo le hice un dobladillo en la parte recta, aquí la pieza va a quedar sin coser, enfrentando los derechos de estas dos pieza coloqué alfileres para que no se movieran.
Hice los tirantes de la cintura y los sujeté con alfileres justo en dónde termina lo que podríamos decir que es la sisa del delantal. Vamos a coser la pieza principal con la pieza del refuerzo, sin coser la parte donde va la asa para el cuello.
- Before sewing the reinforcement piece I made a hem on the straight part, here the piece will be left unsewn, facing the right sides of these two pieces I placed pins so they wouldn't move.
- I made the waist straps and pinned them just where what we could say is the armhole of the apron ends. We are going to sew the main piece with the reinforcement piece, without sewing the part where the handle for the neck goes.
Paso 3 || Step 3
Realicé el asa del cuello con semicuero, corté una tira de 4cm y la doble para pasar costura por el medio, luego utilice los ajustadores y me guíe por el delantal que tengo en casa, está asa fue la parte que más me gusto del delantal pues es la primera vez que hago esta tira para ajustar.
Coloqué el asa en la parte interna entre la pieza de refuerzo y cosí, luego hice costura de decorativa en la parte delantera y agregué los dobladillos de todas las partes de delantal.
- I made the handle of the neck with semi leather, I cut a 4cm strip and folded it to pass seam in the middle, then I used the adjusters and I was guided by the apron I have at home, this handle was the part that I liked the most of the apron because it is the first time I make this strip to adjust.
- I placed the handle on the inside between the gusset piece and sewed, then did decorative stitching on the front and added the hems of all the apron parts.
Paso 4 || Step 4
- Por último pero no menos importante corte un rectángulo de 28cm de largo por 18 cm de alto para el bolsillo, utilice el semicuero negro para que resaltará, y lo cosí en el medio del delantal.
- Last but not least I cut a rectangle 28cm long by 18cm high for the pocket, used the black half leather to make it stand out, and sewed it in the middle of the apron.
Resultado final.
Final result.
Y así quedó el resultado final de este hermoso delantal. Estoy muy feliz de como quedó y aunque no se quede en mi cocina se que le darán un gran uso (aunque me lo quería quedar 😂🤣😅), Espero de corazón que les hay gustado este post y si has llegado hasta aquí mil gracias por leerme ❤️🥰 un fuerte abrazo, gracias por el apoyo y nos leemos luego.
And this is the final result of this beautiful apron. Luego debo decir que me encanta ese color mostaza y aunque, antes de leer la publicación, sí me dí cuenta que era un delantal muy serio y poco femenino; nada que ver con los proyectos que acostumbras a hacer, luego comprendí la razón.
Sin embargo, creo que se te ve muy bien. Me agradaron los detalles en semicuero y lo prolijo del resultado final. Gran trabajo, te felicito.🤗Hola @yulilemus02, primero que todo, debo decir que me encanta la imagen de portada, se nota que le pusiste cariño.
