For the elaboration of the hammock

Trace on a recycled paper the pattern to make the hammock, with the following measures 64 long by 54 wide, place it on the fabric and began to cut leaving a seam allowance at the top and bottom of the length of the fabric to place the covers where the headboards go.

Then I cut a piece of double cloth of 17 cms, I cut it in four parts, I took out the threads of the cloth and I began to weave in the form of clinejas, once elaborated the 8 clinejas, I cooked 4 in each side, this will form the covers for where the cabuyeras of the hammock go.

For the elaboration of the cabuyeras

I cut 20 pieces of macramé of 50 cms, I used 10 for each side, I began to introduce them in the covers then in the superior part I tied it and I was winding it until giving it an oval form with an opening to introduce the rope to hang the hammock.

Me has dado una excelente idea, me has inspirado, haré una.

Gracias por compartir.

Saludos

What a lovely hammock! I love the way you combined the different materials together and the final touches of needlework crochet made it nice and neat :)
