Yeah, bless up sistren, good to know your boy liked it too. Nice to see you making this for you and yours, Ital is Vital. I can see how the blender isn't the best to get a find grind, but all good either way. When I make it in my grinder, I do it for three different 3-second pulses. Any longer than that and you end up making peanut butter on the walls of your grinder. Every three seconds I have to take the lid off and scrape the sticky stuff off all the edges to help keep it fluffy.

Wicked recipe! Really love it. I can imagine it would have been even better with a fine grind. I had to shake my blender several times to get it from off the sides and finer. Wanted to run the blender a few more times but remembered that peanut butter part and decided to go with a few chunks. The combination of flavors is really good. Here they have some toppings for rice called βfurikakeβ.
After my younger son had his first serving of podi. He said, βMommy, I want more of the Super Family Furikake!β
So thatβs our new name for it. ππWe have just a little super family furikake left. Heβs usually a picky eater so I was surprised that he tried it and even asked for seconds. I went low on the chili but it was also his first time to have tamarind. Thanks man. Really appreciate the new recipes.
