Hello friends, Today I want to share a post on the loafer I made for a client of mine.
Materials used
Fibre
Leather
Adhesive glue
A pair of lasts
Lasting pliers
Rubber sole
Tack nails
The first thing I do is to cut the pattern on to the leather and also cut out the insoles and cover with leather, after which I use another brown leather to tape the edges.
Next, I sew the middle parts to the rest of the body and add a lining to it.
Next, I apply gum to the insoles and glue the linnng to the insole.
I then apply gum to the rubber soles and the shoe after fixing a buckle accross.
I then allow to dry a little before hammering gently.
Our shoe is now ready to wear!
Thanks for viewing my post.
Hi @toubie
What is the retail price of this pair of shoes?
It costs $50
Hi @toubie,
I asked because I thought you might be able to sell customized shoes to people worldwide through https://hivelist.store.
If your retail price is $50, the actual cost to your customers online will be higher considering the shipping cost. With that in mind, I am not sure whether you will be able to sell it online at https:hivelist.store.
Maybe you should try and see the response.
Thank you very much. This was so thoughtful of you. I'll check it out
