Grasshoppers are animals that are very easy to meet on any land, especially land that is still filled with grass or green land.
Grasshoppers are herbivores. Grasshoppers have antennae that are shorter than their body size, the sound the grasshopper produces comes from rubbing the hind femur with its wings.
This type of grasshopper insect is winged and can fly from one tree to another. The female grasshopper has a larger body when compared to the male grasshopper.
The habitat of grasshoppers in general is open nature such as plantations and fields filled with grass.
Grasshoppers are pests for residents who are gardening because grasshoppers are leaf eaters. Often the grasshoppers land on the wara plants and eat them so that the residents' plants die.
Grasshoppers have brown, green and black colors. Grasshoppers have large hind legs making it easier for them to jump around long distances.
Grasshoppers are active during the day as well as at night. We also know that grasshoppers do not have nests or houses to sleep in like other animals in general. So grasshoppers have a habit of migrating from season to season.
