Hello Guys... How are you today?
Like the previous days, whenever we have free time, we always take the time to clean some important plants in our yard that have a promising plant capacity. One of the plants we always cultivate is the kaffir lime plant, because in our area we really need the fruit and its young leaves for daily cooking needs.
However, the plant was visited by several kaffir lime butterflies and may in recent days have left their eggs on every leaf of the plant. Due to other activities, the spawning process was not witnessed and I missed a process. Today we meet in the form of a caterpillar that will turn into a cocoon so that in the end it returns to a beautiful and charming butterfly.
As has been described in previous meetings, visible events are very often seen while scientists term the process as complete metamorphosis, and it will certainly be experienced by every butterfly that will continue its civilization in this real world.
As I recall, this process has several stages that are often discussed in the insect world, especially butterflies. Then the results of his observations have been known to everyone in the form of a clock that rotates to the right in walking from one process to another.
If it is traced, then you will understand easily and simply, especially if it is contained in a graphic or it can also be said in a table, about how the process will take shape. Well, please look at the table below :
Ordinal | Stages | Termed as |
---|---|---|
1 | Initial process | Eggs |
2 | The second process becomes | Larba |
3 | Third process | Pupa |
4 | Last Process | Adult or Butterfly |
When looking at the process that has been mentioned in the table, it can be said that, when the mother butterfly wants to continue its generation, it will certainly get a male who will fertilize and eventually turn into a different process in the form of an egg.
That is, when the mother butterfly is about to lay eggs it will look for healthy or dense leaves, the point is that the mother butterfly is very good at finding healthy leaves. This is useful for future children when there is a change from an egg to a larva.
So, it is not surprising when someone meets small eggs neatly attached and sometimes hidden in the leaves that are about to grow and will develop as the plant process itself goes.
In general, the mother butterfly will always choose healthy young leaves and the mother has predicted that, along with the birth of the caterpillar figure in the egg, the leaf has also grown, their count is very precise, so when it turns into a larva it immediately gets its food in that location too, without looking for a remote location.
The mother's count was extraordinary when predicting the age of the leaves and the age of the larvae when they were in a leaf, strangely each side of the leaf was able to be reached by the larvae that had been in that location for some time.
The change from egg to larva is a sight not everyone likes. Well... Whose name is caterpillar everyone doesn't like it. This is caused by the view that is less relevant, meaning that his posture from head to toe makes people amused (disgusted) in looking at him.
This posture when in the second stage opens opportunities for prospective butterflies to get a lot of food, while in the next life they eat little food in the form of liquid. Well, when he turns into a larva he is also not liked by every plant farmer because he hinders the development process of the plant itself in obtaining crops, because every leaf around it is consumed in its devour.
However, this situation did not last long, only happened in a few days and finally the larva's body posture changed significantly in depth as you can see in the picture.
Gradually the soft body turned hard, and the original color of the larva also changed significantly and then hardened from each side of the body, the attached spines also collapsed due to the process of becoming a pupa.
The color continues to change over time and in the end it becomes an oval shape like a package that is neatly arranged in every definite and thorough movement.
The larvae have turned into a pupa that is different from the origin of the occurrence, both in the egg form and in the larval form.
Not long or entering the next days will come out an amazing figure in the form of a flying species named Butterfly.
Continuing in the next process, hopefully I will get the phenomenon of change when a butterfly emerges from a cocoon
