🌟Greetings friends🌟 of #hive and #nerday 🙋🏽♂️, I hope you are well and have had a wonderful start of the week. Today I share with you a new drawing, which I made this afternoon with mixed media between colors and watercolors.
This day I have drawn a Parasaurolophus, a majestic dinosaur that maybe many of you have already seen, because this dinosaur has been in movies like Jurassic Park and animated series like Dino Rey (where it was the dinosaur of one of the main characters).
✨ℙ𝕒𝕣𝕒𝕤𝕒𝕦𝕣𝕠𝕝𝕠𝕡𝕙𝕦𝕤✨
This dinosaur belongs to the hadrosaurs, dinosaurs characterized by having a duck beak, being one of the most surprising. The Parasaurolophus had a bony crest which could measure up to 1.8 m in length, it is said that it could have emitted a deep sound by blowing air through it.
This dinosaur belonged to the Cretaceous period, 75 m.a; it was discovered in North America and could measure up to 10 meters in length, which is the average length of this group of dinosaurs. The meaning of its name is "close to the crested lizard", but many know it as "duck-billed lizard" or "crested lizard".

🖌️Procedure🖌️
I made the sketch on my drawing pad with the Mongolian pencil, making first the dinosaur and then the habitat.
I used the watercolor colors to start detailing the plants around him and the earth, using the brush to give the watercolor finish.
In the same way I did it when detailing the dinosaur, first I make the strokes and then I give the watercolor finish with the brush.
I detailed the leaves and trees with the kolor colors, defining the areas better.
Then I did the same on the dinosaur, detailing with flesh, orange and brown colors.
Finally, I outlined the whole drawing with the pen and made a blue background for the sky with watercolor.

I love the dinosaur theme, it is a topic that I mastered a lot when I was a child, having several books to fill me with knowledge. Part of the information shared was thanks to my "Encyclopedia of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures".
