From time to time I like to do more realistic work, why? I don't know, personal projects that help me to practice my skills. I think this was the last painting I had done on my old and first laptop, how many years had it been with me? almost 6 years... I feel old.
De vez en cuando me gusta hacer trabajos yendo mas al realismo. ¿Por que? pues no se, proyecto personales que me ayudan a practicar mis habilidades. Creo que este fue la ultima pintura que había hecho en mi antigua y primera laptop, ¿Cuántos años llevaría con migo? casi 6 años... me siento cada vez mas anciana.

Regresando a la pintura (para olvidar lo fácil que se envejece), este es un fan art de Deltarune. Quienes ya lo conozcan estarán pensando "espera, ¿no es el mucho mas gordo?" pues déjenme decirles que si, si lo es... continuemos :D.
Process/Proceso:
I already had a mental image of the composition, I had been inspired by other fan illustrations (one of them showed him and Sans fighting), and for me I had to create an intimidating composition, what better than this?
Ya tenia una imagen mental de la composición, me había inspirado de otras ilustraciones de fans (en una de ellas se veía a el y a Sans peleando), y para mi si o si tenia que crear una composición intimidadora ¿Qué otra mejor que esta?.
For practice and speed, I decided to do the background in grisaille and the character with the color directly. Great double practice in one!!!
Por temas de practica y rapidez, decidí hacer el fondo en grisalla y el personaje con el color directamente. Genial ¡¡doble practica en una!!.
Making the grisaille speeds things up a lot without a doubt, but it always generates me doubts in the moment of coloring them (it's still hard for me to understand the process and many times I just throw strokes until I feel satisfied).
Hacer la grisalla acelera mucho las cosas sin duda, pero siempre me genera dudas en el momento de colorearlas (me cuesta aun entender el proceso y muchas veces solo lanzo trazos hasta sentirme conforme).
That's why I sometimes prefer to do the painting directly, even though it can sometimes take much longer.
Por eso es que a veces prefiero hacer la pintura directamente, aunque a veces pueda tardar mucho mas.
Even after coloring everything, I had to make several changes. But I hope the composition is with the feeling I expected, in the end this character is a total son of his mother who enjoys the suffering of the player every time he throws that damn sickle... oh my apologies, there are children watching.
Aún después de colorear todo, tuve que hacer varios cambios. Pero espero que la composición haya quedado con la sensación que esperaba, al final este personaje es un hijo de su madre total que disfruta del sufrimiento del jugador cada vez que la lanza esa maldita oz... oh mis disculpas, hay niños viendo.
