Awe and perseverance

Guys should know how many times I've redrawn her face. In total, I spent 8 hours on it. These are my two working days. I applied the oil, then cut it off with a palette knife. And at first, I made a thick layer of oil. By the end of the second day, I began to draw a very thin layer. Because it is very inconvenient to remove a thick layer of paint. And to be honest, I feel sorry for the material.

And at the very beginning, it seemed to me that I had chosen a very simple angle of the portrait. I thought it was harder to draw a symmetrical face . It seems that what difference does it make in what position the face is, what you see is what you draw. But no. It was difficult for me to see the planes of the head, the main facets of the skull. Because of this, the face was constantly moving around the canvas in chaotic directions.

In my difficult situation, I was helped by a drawing ruler, and a more experienced look from my husband. I was so immersed in the process that I couldn't see the errors.

The work is done in oil. I drew with brushes, cloth, and fingers.

Amazing art work

Thanks🦋

Truthfully the painting is incredible! Do your paintings normally take this long to do or was this a special case?

Thanks)) This painting was the first portrait. My next pictures I drew a little faster, but not much)) Oil for me generally takes a very long time. That's partly why I started studying graphic materials and watercolors. But the size also has a place to be.

Cute wow ;)

🤗 Thanks)

She is beautiful!

Maravilloso trabajo, me encanta la luz que pega en su pecho y en la ropa. saludos
