This is why I do not care if we live in a simulation or not. This is what we experience, so this is what we must deal with.

I cannot see that this is any right. It is certainly the responsibility of parents, but events can arise that disable parents from doing so by no fault of their own. Since none need slight him to prevent such circumstance, it cannot be a right to enjoy some particular circumstance.
