Fawaka everyone,
Since the hard fork, the Hive community in Suriname has not been able to come together for an official meet up. As we still have issues with a partial lockdown in Suriname and group of more than 5 people are not allowed, we decided to have a Hive Suriname Digital Meet Up. It existed of a talk between 4 Hive members that either have the Surinamese nationality or live in Suriname at the moment.
In this video, you will see @faustofraser, @justinparke, @diegoameerali and myself talking about Hive, the experience on the Hive ecosystem, the different uses of Hive and some things that people should know before joining in.
It was fun talk and we hope to get together at one point with a group as well, but very cool to still have the opportunity to get together online and talk a little about our experiences on Hive. The best part of doing an online meet up is that Diego could join in all the way from New Zeeland.
The video was streamed live in the Hive Suriname Facebook group for other members of the Hive Suriname Community to follow and is now uploaded to @threespeak so it is all publicly available for others to watch as well.
I'll see if I can take some sound bites or edits from this video to promote Hive in Suriname as well, because there are some nuggets in this one hour long video.

Awesome meeting, and mad a new friend with @diegoameerali.
Sorry about the informal turban, looking at this now I realize how much of a mess my head was.
Keep up the good work @jeanlucsr.
Thanks Justin.
The turban's fine. Didn't notice at all.
Btw.. will the paying a quick visit in an hour or two.
Kinda confused that the beneficiaries didn't go. Going to have to that manually upon post payout.

I'm very humbled to have made a new friend as well :D. Looking forward to more of this o.ob
This video pulled me back onto this platform, ironically through facebook.
Hopefully I'll be able to stay active longer than the last few times :) Thanks
