Saludos querida comunidad de #HiveDiy hoy quería compartir con ustedes una hermosa bandana o diadema de tela que hice hace poco.
Tenía un retazo de tela muy bonito, un morado con brillantes, no sabía qué hacer con el, pero lo que sí sabía es que no lo iba a botar. Recuerden, debemos darle una segunda oportunidad a casi todo antes de pensar tirarlo a la basura.
Como mi cabello es un poco rebelde, en especial los pequeños cabellos o más conocidos como "baby hair", se salen de su sitio, por más que aplique cremas o gel, ya que tengo mucho frizz. Soy fan de las diademas sobre todo las de tela ya que las de metal o plástico tienden a darme dolor de cabeza.
Greetings dear #HiveDiy community today I wanted to share with you a beautiful cloth bandana or headband that I made recently.
I had a very pretty piece of cloth, purple with diamonds, I didn't know what to do with it, but what I did know is that I wasn't going to throw it away. Remember, we should give almost everything a second chance before thinking about throwing it away.
As my hair is a bit rebellious, especially the little hairs or better known as "baby hair", they get out of place, no matter how much I apply creams or gels, since I have a lot of frizz. I am a fan of headbands, especially fabric ones since metal or plastic ones tend to give me a headache.
¡Empecemos!, estos son los materiales que usé:
✅Tela 54 cm de largo por 20 cm de ancho
✅Tijeras
✅Aguja
✅Hilo del color de la tela
Nota: las medidas que usé de largo de la tela son mis medidas. Para realizar esta medición basta con colocar la cinta métrica alrededor de la cabeza; ten en cuenta que la costura para cerrar la diadema es aproximadamente 1 cm.
Let's get started! These are the materials I used:
✅Fabric 54 cm long by 20 cm wide
✅Scissors
✅Needle
✅Thread of the color of the fabric
Note: the measurements I used for the length of the fabric are my measurements. To perform this measurement, simply place the tape measure around the head; Please note that the seam to close the headband is approximately 1 cm.
Empecé por doblar a la mitad el retazo de tela, por el lado al revés y así coser por el borde de 54 cm. Es importante que si cosen a mano no aprieten tanto la costura ya que la idea es que nuestra diadema quede elástica.
Procedure:
I started by folding the piece of fabric in half, on the wrong side, and thus sew along the 54 cm edge. It is important that if they sew by hand they do not tighten the seam so much since the idea is that our headband is elastic.
Una vez terminemos de coser, volteamos la tela.
Tomamos ambos extremos de la tela y los situamos uno encima de otro a la mitad.
Once you finish sewing, we turn the fabric. We take both ends of the fabric and place them one on top of the other in the middle.
Luego con los bordes que sobresalen doblamos hacia el centro, como si cada extremo se abrazase, luego hacemos una costura; en este caso, más fuerte la costura, ya que en este paso estaremos cerrando la diadema.
Then with the protruding edges we fold towards the center, as if each end were hugging each other, then we make a seam; in this case, make the seam stronger, since in this step we will be closing the headband.
Y ya terminamos la bandana o diadema de tela. Es ideal realizar este tipo de trabajos con tela elástica, si no tienen o no consiguen, pueden usar un elástico y colocárselo en la parte de atrás de la bandana, pero allí serían más costuras, sin embargo, no es nada difícil.
And we finished the bandana or cloth headband. It is ideal to do this type of work with elastic fabric, if you don't have it or can't find it, you can use elastic and place it on the back of the bandana, but there would be more seams, however, it is not difficult at all.
Me encantó esta diadema para usar diariamente, tanto para combinar con nuestro outfit como para hacer ejercicio sin que el cabello nos estorbe en el rostro; también para nuestras rutinas de skin care. Otra utilidad que encontré fue para negocio, es muy sencilla de hacer y puedes hacerlas a mano sin que se vea mal, ya que la costura va totalmente oculta; si es con una máquina de coser podrás hacer muchísimas en poco tiempo, de un metro de tela salen aproximadamente 8 o 9 diademas, depende las medidas. Si haces para niños o bebés ¡saldrán muchísimas más!
I loved this headband to wear daily, both to combine with our outfit and to exercise without our hair getting in the way of our faces; also for our skin care routines. Another utility that I found was for business, it is very easy to do and you can do it by hand without it looking bad, since the seam is completely hidden; If it is with a sewing machine you can make many in a short time, approximately 8 or 9 headbands will come out of one meter of fabric, depending on the measurements. If you do for children or babies, many more will come out!
