Hello Every one! I just want to share my small business with you guys. As a student, it is very difficult to have no income, especially if you are a college student and cannot ask your parents for an allowance, but even so, of course, we need to provide for our wants and needs. I grew up in a difficult life and my parents didn't have a decent job, so we have to persevere in life so that we can somehow lift ourselves up. I make a flower small business so that one day I can grow. especially since I love crafting ideas for example, sewing photos or cartoons, I also love to design some things, so maybe my grades are high when it comes to design because when I was in high school, I was the one who designed all of our projects. After all, that was my comfortable hobby. I like to design flowers because flowers are my favorite because they are beautiful to my eyes so my small business is about flowers made up of ribbon.
The Crafting flowers business that I do so that I can earn an income and save for my dreams., I make flowers using satin ribbon in different colors and wrap them in wrappers to make a bouquet. You can make any color of flowers you want, but the only flowers I have available are tulips, sunflowers, and roses because these are the only ones I have learned, even though these are the only ones available in my business, my customers love to buy especially the rose. My flowers can be used for any occasion you can give them as your gift for birthdays, baptisms, valentines, Mother’s day, Father’s day, weddings, and so on. You can also customize how many we can put in the bouquet and we can also put letters, chocolates, and things you want to put to give as a gift to your Lover or loved ones.
The flower's satin ribbon is a long process but it is exciting to do especially if you are the one making the gifts for your loved ones. A lot of materials are needed here, that's why my investment in this business is kind of expensive.
Here is the list of materials used in crafting Flower Satin
First of course you need a Satin ribbon because this is what you need the most to make flowers. You also need lighters to glue the satin ribbon but you have to be careful because you might get burned like I did several times. You need a glue gun and glue stick to combine the materials you have made and this will strengthen the flower you are making. Ribbons, Scissors, Metallic ties, wrappers, Styrofoam, Stem stick,s and others are also needed. You can't make a flower bouquet without one of these.

When you dream of building a business, you need skills that you should do so that your business will bloom. First, think of a business that you know will be popular in your area and take a risk, you need to take a risk because if you are afraid to take out money for your business, the business will probably not take off or bloom. Second, of course, you need finances because you can't build the business you want if you don't have enough financial/budget. Third is creative thinking skills where you need to be creative "Think outside the box" so that you can decorate more designs or if you lack materials you can do it and you can do it with your ideas. You also need communication skills so that if you are negotiating with others, you will be able to communicate well with them and with your future customers. Those are the ones I used and still use to make the business I have flourished.
I make sure that the flowers I make are perfect for my customers to like. I share this because I want to show one of the goals that I have achieved in my life. I've been through a lot, so I know a little about the life of poverty, so we need to persevere even when it's hard. I had a hard time at first because I didn't have a budget for the materials and it was difficult to wrap the flowers at first because it was the first time I wrapped flowers. But we need to try and take a risk because there is nothing wrong with trying the things we want to do.
⚙️PROCESS ⚙️
Step 1: Cut Ribbon
The first step is cutting 4cm Satin ribbon by 3.37 inches I used ATM Card as a reference since it has the same size.
Step 2: Burn and fold Edges of Ribbon
Burn the edges of the ribbon so it does not fluff. It is a good practice to burn the edges since there are small fibers of ribbon left over after cutting ribbons. It is more presentable when you already put it in a bouquet. After burning fold the edges by two and burn it again to stick it together.
Step 3: Stick together the Petals
Make an arch using the petals, and stick them together using stick glue. We need at least 15 petals so that we can form 1 flower.
Step 4: Roll to Stick
Roll it in the barbeque stick so that it will form a flower and the stick will serve as the stem.
Step 5: Poke in Styro Foam
The styrofoam will serve as the base and holder of the bouquet, Make Sure to cut a medium rectangle size so that it can hold the flower.
Step 6: Wrap
This is one of the challenging parts, the wrapping. I used half of the wrapper and cut it into 3 so that I could make a middle fold then the left and third wrap. I just fold it to create a design. I used metallic wire so that I could tie them in the styrofoam. I added a Ribbon so that it could cover the metallic tie and put some stickers on my business.

Here is the finished product of my Flower Satin. I made a single bouquet, 3 to 5 rose bouquets and with chocolates. These are the orders last Valentine's day and I thank my customer for supporting my small business.
