I have a group of friends in dance therapy who sometimes invent reasons to get together; we agreed to meet on the 27th to celebrate Friendship Day and Carnival. We are going to exchange gifts and that is the purpose of these key rings that I made.

Hoy reciclando anillos de latas. Tengan un bendecido día, diylovers, espero que hayan recibido muchos obsequios en el Día de la Amistad y el Amor. Estoy muy contenta de estar nuevamente por la comunidad para presentarles un sencillo proyecto que elaboré como obsequio para unas amigas.
Tengo un grupo de amigas en la bailoterapia que en ocasiones inventamos motivos para reunirnos; quedamos en encontrarnos el día 27 para celebrar el Día de la amistad y el Carnaval. Vamos a realizar un intercambio de regalos y ese es el destino de estos llaveros que hice.
These key rings are very simple and easy to make, they don't require so many materials, so the cost is very low. All we need are: nails for earrings (in my case I used some from an earring), green and yellow beads (I had a necklace), 2 rings from cans (a small one from a soda can and a big one from a tuna can), costume jewellery pearls and stones, 2 rings for key rings, 2 small separators (I had from a discarded bracelet), 4 costume jewellery caps (also from discarded garments) and several tools or pliers, necessary for cutting and tightening.
I like simple things, that's why I always make simple and easy projects; in this case, I made two dolls with the can rings. Now, I am going to give you the process of making them.

Estos llaveros son muy sencillos y fáciles de elaborar, no requiere de tantos materiales, por lo que el costo es muy bajo. Solamente necesitamos: clavitos para zarcillos (en mi caso usé unos que tenía un arete), mostacillas verdes y amarillas (tenía un collar), 2 anillos de latas (uno pequeño de refresco y otro grande de lata de atún), perlas y piedras de bisutería, 2 aros para llaveros, 2 separadores chiquitos (tenía de una pulsera desechada), 4 capuchones de bisutería (también de prendas desechadas) y varias herramientas o alicates, necesarias para cortar y apretar.
Me gustan las cosas sencillas, por eso siempre realizo proyectos simples y fáciles; en este caso, hice dos muñecos con los anillos de latas. Ahora, paso a darles el proceso de elaboración.

The procedure starts with making the head of the doll. Look.

El procedimiento comienza haciendo la cabeza del muñeco. Miren.
1- Encajar un clavo en el anillo.
2- Place an inverted cap, a separator, a spherical bead, another cap that simulates hair and close, bending the tip of the wire, to put a ring.

2- Colocar un capuchón invertido, un separador, un abalorio esférico, otro capuchón que simula el pelo y cerrar, doblando la punta del alambre, para poner un aro.
We continue with the arms and legs.
3- For the arms we embed a stone, 7 beads (alternating between yellow and green) and, finally, a round crystal. The wire is tied to the ring of the tin.
On the legs apply the same procedure, but place 10 beads and a stone, attaching the wire to the ring at the bottom.

Seguimos con los brazos y piernas.
3- Para los brazos incrustamos una piedra, 7 mostacillas (alternando entre amarillo y verde) y, por último, un cristal redondo. El alambre se ata al anillo de la lata.
En las piernas aplica el mismo procedimiento, pero colocando 10 mostacillas y una piedra, uniendo el alambre al anillo en la parte de abajo.
4- The only thing left to do is to attach the key ring part by means of a triangle that is attached to the ring of the charm.

4- Lo único que falta es colocar la parte del llavero mediante un triángulo que se une al aro del dije.
This way, everything is ready; which is repeated for the other keyring. If you ask me which one I like, I think the keyring with the small ring looks better, I guess it's because of the size. All in all, I'm pleasantly pleased with the result.
At some point I'm going to try to make something more complicated, but that will be another time. Also, I think I need to buy a cylindrical-tipped plier because I find it difficult to shape the wire into a rounded form. I have found that I like to make key rings out of the can rings; I keep some whenever I can, in fact I have several of them.

De esta manera, queda todo listo; lo cual se repite para el otro llavero. Si me preguntan cuál me gusta, me parece que el llavero del anillo pequeño luce mejor, supongo que es por el tamaño. A pesar de todo, me siento gratamente satisfecha por el resultado.
En algún momento voy a intentar hacer algo más complicado, pero será en otra oportunidad. También, creo que debo comprar una pinza de puntas cilíndricas porque se me dificulta dar forma redondeada al alambre. Me he dado cuenta de que me gusta hacer llaveros con los anillos de latas; siempre que puedo guardo algunos, de hecho tengo varios de ellos.
