Saludos amigos, he estado bastante desaparecida de hive, peeeero regreso con un poco de inspiración para cumpleaños!
No se si es una virtud o un defecto pero, me gusta ir haciendo las cosas con mucha pero MUCHA anticipación 😅. Mi hija Miranda cumple años el 19 de octubre y yo ya tengo piñata, cotillones y decoraciones listas, la torta encargada, el salón de fiesta reservado desde julio (aquí cuesta conseguir fechas) y los pasapalos o picaditas al menos planeados.
Este será el primer cumpleaños en "grande" que le celebramos a nuestra niñita así que por eso la emoción, aunque con lo de la anticipación siempre he sido así. En fin, les traigo esta inspiración de adornitos y cotillones, con la esperanza de poder ayudar a alguien! 🙂

Hello friends, I've been quite absent from hive, but I'm back with some inspiration for birthdays!
I don't know if it's a virtue or a flaw but, I like to get things done way, way ahead of time. My daughter Miranda's birthday is October 19 and I already have the piñata, cotillions and decorations ready, the cake ordered, the party room booked since July (it's hard to get dates here) and the snacks at least planned.
This will be the first "big" birthday we celebrate for our little girl, so that's why I'm so excited, although I've always been like that with anticipation. Anyway, I bring you this inspiration of decorations and cotillions, in the hope that I can help someone!

En mi caso, el precioso diseño se lo debo a mi amiga Gaby, ella es diseñadora gráfica, asi que sin pensarlo me dio una manito con esto! (gracias Gabs 😁)
Bueno, primero vamos con los cotillones:
En la libreria me compre estas bolsitas de colores que miden 20x12cm, yo tomé rosado y amarillo por ser los mas significativos de la princesa que eligió mi hija, para decorarlas sencillamente imprimí en cartulina un diseño que me elaboró Gaby, pero para otras bolsitas decidí decorarlas con la corona de peach, esa la dibujé a mano alzada en foami dorado con escarchas o gliters.

Para simular las gemas de la corona utilicé lentejuelones rosadas y azules.

In my case, I owe the beautiful design to my friend Gaby, she is a graphic designer, so without thinking she gave me a hand with this (thanks Gabs 😁).
Well, first let's go with the cotillions:
In the bookstore I bought these little bags of colors measuring 20x12cm, I took pink and yellow for being the most significant of the princess that my daughter chose, to decorate them I simply printed on cardboard a design that Gaby made me, but for other bags I decided to decorate them with the crown of peach, I drew it freehand in gold foami with glitter or glitters.
To simulate the crown gems I used pink and blue sequins.
Ahora vamos con los centros de mesa: para esto Gaby también me solucionó la vida diseñándome los torsos de Peach, estos los pegué a un circulo pequeño de cartulina y ruché su vestido en papel crepé..

Su vestido lo elaboré con la misma técnica de "ruchado" en papel crepé en el tono rosado mas similar que encontré; tome un vaso plástico alto, y con pegamento fui "ruchando" el papel crepé al rededor del vaso, puse 2 capas de 3 deditos de ancho, (aprox. 6cm) esto con muchísima paciencia porque no quise utilizar silicón caliente por miedo a dañar el vasito, así que utilice silicón liquido que tarda una eternidad en secar pero bueno! 🤔
Quería enseñarles la piñata también, esta me la elaboró Cecilia Benoit quien amablemente me envió la foto que les voy a enseñar porque aun no he podido ir a retirarla, por tema de distancia (yo vivo en Capital Federal y ella en Provincia y no he podido hacer tiempo de irla a buscar) Si están en Argentina, amigos se las recomiendo con los ojos cerrados, trabaja muy lindo y económico.

Now let's go with the centerpieces: for this Gaby also solved my life by designing me Peach's torsos, I glued them to a small circle of cardboard and I ruched her dress in crepe paper....
I made her dress with the same technique of "ruching" in crepe paper in the most similar pink tone I found; I took a tall plastic cup, and with glue I was "ruching" the crepe paper around the cup, I put 2 layers of 3 fingers wide, (approx. 6cm) this with a lot of patience because I did not want to use hot silicone for fear of damaging the cup, so I used liquid silicone that takes forever to dry but well!
I wanted to show you the piñata too, this one was made by Cecilia Benoit who kindly sent me the picture that I am going to show you because I have not been able to pick it up yet, due to distance (I live in Capital Federal and she lives in the province and I have not been able to make time to pick it up). If you are in Argentina, friends I recommend it with my eyes closed, it works very nice and economical.
Aun faltan un par de semanas pero siento que tengo bastantes cosas adelantadas, y eso me deja tranquila.
