Greetings, my dear creative friends of this community. I hope you are very well, in good health and well-being, and that you had the best day possible.
I am back in the community to share with you a simple, easy to make and very cute craft. I tell you that, as I do every Wednesday, I met with my friends from the craft group in the library of my community to make paper flowers. This time, we made them with crepe paper and napkins.

Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para compartir con ustedes una manualidad sencilla, fácil de hacer y, además, muy linda. Les cuento que, como todos los miércoles, me reuní con mis amigas del grupo de artesanas en la biblioteca de mi comunidad para hacer flores de papel. En esta ocasión, las hicimos con papel crepé y con servilletas.

The materials we use can be at hand, at home, so we just have to get ready with enthusiasm to create these beautiful paper flowers.
We got down to work, here is the list of materials:
.- Crepe paper
.- Napkins
.- White glue
.- Scissors
.- Sticks of height
Los materiales que usamos podemos tenerlos a mano, en casa, así que solo tenemos que disponernos con entusiasmo a crear estas hermosas flores de papel.
Nos pusimos manos a la obra, por acá les dejo la lista de materiales:
.- Papel crepé
.- Servilletas
.- Pega blanca
.- Tijeras
.- Palitos de altura

The first thing we did was to line with crepe paper the height sticks. The procedure is very easy. The paper is rolled diagonally from the top to the tip of the stick.
To make the white flower, we used napkins. The first step is to fold them in a triangular shape until they have a cone shape. Then, we round them with the scissors and open the napkin once. As you can see in the pictures, one of the folds forms a kind of heart. In that half we cut 2 cm, more or less, separate and pinch the napkin all around the edge as if to make a little crumple.
Then, we open it all and we pass one by one through the height stick from the bottom to the top, put a little glue and press. This way, with as many napkins as you want. The more napkins, the thicker the petals.
Lo primero que hicimos fue forrar con papel crepé los palitos de altura. El procedimiento es muy fácil. Se va enrollando el papel en forma diagonal desde la parte superior hasta la punta del palito.
Para hacer la flor blanca, usamos servilletas. El primer paso es doblarlas en forma triangular hasta que tuvieran forma de cono. Luego, redondeamos con las tijeras y abrimos, una vez, la servilleta. Como ven en las fotografías, uno de los dobleces forma una especie de corazón. En esa mitad cortamos 2 cms., más o menos, separamos y pellizcamos la servilleta por todo el borde como para hacer un arruchadito.
Luego, la abrimos toda y vamos pasando una a una por el palito de altura desde abajo hasta arriba, ponemos un poco de pega y apretamos. Así, con toda la cantidad de servilletas que queramos. Mientras más servilletas, más tupida de pétalos.

We made two more models that I think are easier. For the pink flower, I cut a piece of crepe paper without unfolding it, and then I glued it all over the stick in a wraparound way, but opening the paper a little at each turn.
And, the other model, we made it with already cut petals. I chose yellow petals for my trio of flowers. To shape this flower, you just glue petal by petal around the height stick. We start by gluing them tightly together to make a bud and then glue the other petals more open.
Hicimos dos modelos más que a mi parecer son más fáciles. Para la flor rosada, corté un pedazo de papel crepé sin desdoblar, y luego fui pegando por todo el palito de altura en forma envolvente, pero abriendo un poco el papel en cada vuelta.
Y, el otro modelo, lo hicimos con pétalos ya cortados. Escogí los pétalos de color amarillo para mi trío de flores. Para darle forma a esta flor, solo hay que pegar pétalo por pétalo alrededor del palito de altura. Comenzamos bien pegaditos como para hacer un capullo y luego pegamos los otros pétalos más abiertos.
These meetings are not only to create with our hands and give free rein to our creativity, but also deeply therapeutic, because while we create, we talk and channel emotions, which helps us to share our experiences and, at the end of the day, we leave relaxed, happy and with something made by us with love and dedication.

Hermosas flores de papel, ideales para decorar tantos proyectos de manualidades con sus diferentes formas, tamaños y colores.
Usando ese tipo de papel quedo con un muy buen efecto de relieve, la hace lucir mas realista y ademas esta muy bonita 😍
